I don't remember that scene but if I were to guess, the "good" choice is a less extreme/more vanilla version of torture which is consonant with what I said about choices.

The thing is there is not really a choice for their interactions. Yes a not fuckSeth Olivia is being less cruel to Kane and Seth, but she still accepts that Kyomi uses him as a training mat and humiliates him herself afterwards. So yeah as I said it feels kinda off to me. Because one day prior she protected him from Kittys cruel games and tells him that she still loves him as her brother even if he they are not related by blood.

My main interest in the game is the dynamic between the kind Olivia and the submissive Kane, and as you said, she should be more protective of him. I really missed her in this last update — she was only with him for a short time, and they didn’t have any romantic scene together. I’d love to see a scene where she behaves like Veronica did in this latest update. But it seems Olivia just wasn’t made to be that way.

I am totally Ok with Olivias dom style is being a bratty princess. I just expected it to be a little bit different with her early interactions with Nathan for example, if played good. There she was very dominant but kind of gentle and rewarding. With Kane she feels harsher. But well maybe she is because she thinks she has to be, sadly we don't really see her interacting with other subs without Kane being present very often after the first few episodes.

Whats interesting to me is tha kanes motivations are tied to different sisters. To take over the Karlsson company, you'd likely need to be with Dom, Juliette or Olivia, to rule while secreltly being subservient to someone else you'd have to get with Alessandra. To leave it all behind would likely be Veronica or Olivia.

I understand what your objection is to what you deem excessive cruelty on the good path. I'm saying all the paths are different degrees/flavours of power fantasy (from either a sub/dom perspective) and do not really interact with actual morality. You seem to accept that but then go ahead and introduce morality into scenes you are not into.

Not that I'm trying to stop anyone from doing that, it's just kinda funny that most posters have to become moral philosophers just to say they want a fetish to be what they personally like. I mean there is literally a morality system in the game , so I don't have to introduce morality, it's part of the game. If I say good Olivia I mean she has a very high good stat. Because that was the game actually calls it good and evil. Good in the game context means don't do super cruel stuff to people, show compassion or simply don't be an asshole. You can see this pretty easy by simply checking the variable changes for the choices. But I see this morality system more as character defining, than actual representations of moral concepts. I simply interpreted a high good stat for Olivia as that she doesn't want to be absolutely cruel and doesn't enjoy people being completely miserable or even dying, therefore I think she actually doesn't want to have fun torturing her beloved family, especially not her ill brother, that she defended one day prior. Basically I think it doesn't fit the character that was formed by the decision the player made for her. Not because I think it is too evil.
Same goes for how she treats Kane. I said it doesn't fitted my expectations I had from her earlier interactions with other sub characters.
But of course both of those points could be answered by this statement: She acts like this, because she thinks it is expected from her and to safe her brothers - long term - she needs to be harsh to them right now.
If this is a satisfying answer is basically up for everybody to decide themselves.

Extra Side Path: Phoebe/Charlotte - Evil Dom - New Paris (My fav path after Evil Dom)

Moreover, Olivia is a flexible one. She can exist in all the endings you want by your choices.

Yeah, his death won't be a sexual one and might be one scenario is his parents over there. But, those are not game overs. Tess said in faction sheet, for most of the endings, Kane is not at all needed. Thus means, story will go on without Kane.

Well most of his deaths will be sexual.. just not for a certain character… and most of the endings, do have Kane in them… and the story won’t continue for an extended period without him

If you call the choice system that lets you customise your power fantasy a morality system that's up to you. But like I said, it has nothing to do with actual morality.

I haven't played this latest update yet, waiting for full version, but I am really excited to see the Veronica scene, hearing how nice it is, but I agree on the Olivia part as well as needing more of that.

I do agree I wish we could get more gentle, more romantic, more loving scenes. I get it somewhat, cause she is being watched by others, but I feel Tess could write around that.

You said you wish you could get more of her in this update, well she will be in Game 6, which will be added to final version. So we will get more Olivia, but I am not sure it will be what we exactly want with Gentle, caring stuff, maybe Game 9, since she is running that one herself and will have more control.

But, yeah, I think Tess definitely needs to add more to the caring and loving sub Kane side with Olivia, cause it is just far too little, and I want more just like you.

You are right. Although she done masters in evil scheming, she wants to join the island4 if things go wrong lol. Poor girl just to survive and completely ready to forget about all the evil things she done in her life.

On secret sub route you can kind of push her into one of the two factions, or also don't do that, which keeps her kind of in the middle most likely, but she seems very fond of Olivia, regardless of Olivias alignment.

Secret sub or not, the conversation with veronica happens anyway. So, yeah, She keeps island4 as a one (of many) option, if things go wrong. But will Veronica allows her to join? It depends on secret sub. As of now, both in pure dom and pure sub paths, she don't have any redemption choices.

Tess is known for mood swings, So I wont take seriously of faction sheets.
