Been awhile since I've checked in on this thread, and admittedly haven't gone perusing the thread to get my own answer, but is CCMod compatible with the latest version, and if not, what's the most up to date version that it is compatible with if anyone happens to know?
the newest version 4.1.0 is working

I've played enough games to know if a game is shit or not. This kinda makes me atleast half of "lord of video games".
The only thing you've learned in that time is what YOU like. This may come as a shock to you but different people have different tastes and there are actually some out there who think the stuff you like is complete shit. The only difference is, most of them won't go around telling you that because they understand it's only their opinion and they're decent people.

It is not about my "tastes", no, I've detailed exact reasons why this game is average when you compare it to normal games but good when you compare it to other porn games in my previous posts. I don't feel like finding and copy pasting them again. I'll give you short examples to shut your fanboyism though.

Except my points are not an opinion but are facts.
Example fact 1: Game is grindy.
Example fact 2: Game hides a lot of important gameplay elements(example: passive unlock conditions) from player.
Example fact 3: Gameplay is built around player losing and starting again until player learns those hidden gameplay elements(example: player memorizes passive unlock conditions so they can avoid unwanted ones).
Example fact 4: A lot of skills/edicts are not descriptive enough, especially for a game that is grindy and requires multiple playthroughs. Player almost never fully knows exact effects of skills or edicts(example: up and down arrows in edict descriptions, skill descriptions like "ki" skill which increases attack power but by how much no one really knows).
Example fact 5: Game is a turn based game but doesn't display turn order so player never knows who will act when. Player is supposed to guess turn order in a turn based game.
Example fact 6: Turn based games tend to display exact healths of enemies and damage numbers or previews to let player know which enemy they can kill if they decided to spend their turn on that enemy. In this game player is supposed to guess yet again.
Example fact 7: Turn based games are all about strategy, not reflex. Good strategy games display a lot of information so players can strategize based on given info. When a turn based game hides information instead of presenting them(such as turn order) and leaves player guessing everything, it means game in question is an objectively shit turn based game.

Feel free to tell me these are my "opinions" and not facts :KEK:

There's your facts and not "opinions"

seems to be the consensus that it's a 4.5/5 to overwhelmingly postiive.

What does this mean you might ask. It means 99% of the people that have played this game like it/love it.

You are the 1%, sucks to suck sorry man. :KEK:

Almost everyone disagrees with you. So it's a you problem, not a game problem.
Nobody can tell me the developers though this whole thing to the end or even tried it themself.
The difficulty scaling is completle wrong, secretary mode is WAY too easy while everything above is just making fun of you.
You get like no money to buy anything of the way to expensives edicts which also just gives you more negatives effects as they are usefull, so you totaly lack everything to pull down enemies with force.
Yeah except you grind for subsidies the only income that gives you actually money if you keep order down and make the battles even worse, what a "gameplay".
You constantly have to stop after 2 or 3 fights due fatigue or pleasure is going too high, dodging enemies to not raise fatigue is no fun play.
The sex is fine for the first but the battles get so tendious over time.
You can't tell me the game is do able in a no sex run and thats where the gameplay lost.

And HOW it is a game problem, it is shit nothing else, look at this non existing balance i think i never saw a worse joke.

  • Cyberpunk had good review ratings at launch.
  • Batman Arkham Knight(on pc) had good review ratings at launch.
  • Majority of anime games on steam have good review ratings despite having shit gameplay mechanics. People give these games good ratings not based on game's quality but based on their coomer instincts.
  • Games like battlefield, cod and fifa sells and gets good review ratings every year despite being same game in a different setting with a different name.
  • Games that have decent gameplay mechanics but also have a lot of technical problems sell like hotcakes and get great review scores. Wo Long Fallen Dynasty, Assassin's Creed Unity...
  • Games that are objectively bad like Fallout 76. Called bad by media and everyone else yet still have positive ratings on steam.
You literally have no counter arguments.

You do not enjoy this game, other people do. You are in the 1% that do not, the rest do. That's not a counter argument, it's fact man.

Wow, this is great. I'm not usually a big fan of AI stuff but this is impressive.

Now onto the angry guy...

Yes it is about your tastes. You listed reasons why YOU don't like the game. Once again, just because you don't like something about a game doesn't make it bad. I don't like random encounters but you don't see me going around telling fans of Pokemon or Final Fantasy VI that those games are shit. Also, fanboy accusations? Where did I say the game's above criticism? I don't think I even said I like this game.

I never said those things weren't parts of the game, I just said those things don't make a game bad. Does a game being grindy make it bad? No, otherwise OS Runescape, Diablo II, and pretty much every JRPG made before 2000 would be bad when that isn't the case. Game hides important information? Okay great, so does Cultist Simulator, Kenshi, Morrowind, etc. They're far from bad games. Game's based on the player losing and trying again? Oh, you mean like Hades, Dead Cells, and Binding of Isaac?

I can go on but I've made my point. None of the things you mentioned make the game bad, they're design choices and they've been a part of great games since forever. You're free to dislike them but that's where it ends.

You think grind is a good thing. What is "grinding"? It is doing same thing over and over until you reach a goal. Goal is usually getting your character stats high enough to beat a boss standing in your way. This process sometimes takes hours or even days. Explain to me, in a logical manner, how this is supposed to be a good game design?

Yes, grinding is an objectively shit game design.

No, otherwise OS Runescape, Diablo II, and pretty much every JRPG made before 2000 would be bad when that isn't the case.
The games you are referring to use randomized loot drops. Their main feature is loot, not grinding. If you look you can easily find mods for diablo 2 that reduces grinding while increasing loot quality or quantity.

Game hides important information? Okay great, so does Cultist Simulator, Kenshi, Morrowind, etc.
And none of those games have a progress erasing feature because you did something wrong without realizing it or without game telling you about it. You can easily get out of a bad situation in those games, because they have clear descriptions so you can predict outcome of any action you do. Meanwhile in KP if you happened to get a lot of bad passives(which have unlocking conditions that you can't even see) your progress will be erased because game quickly spirals into an orgasm loop. Have fun unlocking those skills and edicts again, because according to you this is so fun!

Game's based on the player losing and trying again? Oh, you mean like Hades, Dead Cells, and Binding of Isaac?
In Hades you get your skills/weapons at the start of of the game and new skills all the time so losing the game and starting from beginning isn't bad.
In Dead Cells you get your skills/weapons at the start of the game and new skills/weapons all the time so losing the game and starting from beginning isn't bad.
Same goes for Binding of Isaac.
In KP you start with NOTHING. You have to unlock all those skills/edicts AGAIN.

I can go on but I've made my point. None of the things you mentioned make the game bad, they're design choices and they've been a part of great games since forever. You're free to dislike them but that's where it ends.
You can go on but your points are invalid, fact is you are just trying to defend a game you liked. Whether you realize this fact or not doesn't matter.

You've triggered nothing, and you've cherry picked 4 reviews out of 1000's. L. Keep deluding yourself all day man.
I can easily find 100's of same type reviews. Fact is, I don't care enough to provide them and I know even if I did you'd ignore them anyway.

That's cool dude, enjoy your endless crusade against that brickwall, I'm sure you'll really show it who's boss with that personal opinion.

It's hilarious how he's struggling to keep track of the overwhelming backlash he's getting due to his bad takes lmao
I present factually true arguments. In return I get responses like yours, memes and "b-but review ratings, man".
Literally no one has presented an actual counter argument. I see this "backlash" as a win :KEK:

So you have no logical counter argument? Got it.
