I present factually true arguments. In return I get responses like yours, memes and "b-but review ratings, man".
Literally no one has presented an actual counter argument. I see this "backlash" as a win :KEK:

So you have no logical counter argument? Got it.
So all you have is an opinion that is 1% against the rest? Got it.

The proof is there, you just can't see it past your delusions. Bye bye.
Last time I checked KP had 95% positive ratings and 93% of recent reviews are positive(on steam).
This thread has 25 million views.

Yet only 350 people voted the game. I wonder how many people didn't vote and doesn't think game is good.
Considering the fact that not everyone writes a review, I'm curious about what is your 1% argument based on?

Hades you get your skills/weapons at the start of of the game and new skills all the time so losing the game and starting from beginning isn't bad.
In Dead Cells you get your skills/weapons at the start of the game and new skills/weapons all the time so losing the game and starting from beginning isn't bad.
Same goes for Binding of Isaac.
In KP you start with NOTHING. You have to unlock all those skills/edicts AGAIN.
what would you think if i say minecraft is bad game?

I haven't played it recently. Last time I've played was ~3 years ago, I'm sure it had a lot of updates since then. So, I don't know if it is good or or bad now.

Good luck pal, I've been around since 2019.

This "argument" is factually wrong but hey, if you say so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It is not my fault that people keep getting triggered by facts, they shouldn't feel attacked by facts.

I present factually true arguments.
Like when you say, Cyberpunk had at release great reviews?

The PC Version still sits only at a 7.1 on Metacritic and let's not even start on other Platforms like PS4, that are only 3.8.

Why? Because the release reviews weren't great for the most part and even now with it getting for the most part only 10s and 9s it can't recover from the early reviews. But sure, you are a true crusader of facts. Facts that are nothing more than your personal opinion. But you go die on that hill.

You think grind is a good thing. What is "grinding"? It is doing same thing over and over until you reach a goal. Goal is usually getting your character stats high enough to beat a boss standing in your way. This process sometimes takes hours or even days. Explain to me, in a logical manner, how this is supposed to be a good game design?
Because many people find that fun. I don't know what else to tell you here man. People like shit that you don't, welcome to planet Earth. Enjoy your stay.

The games you are referring to use randomized loot drops. Their main feature is loot, not grinding. If you look you can easily find mods for diablo 2 that reduces grinding while increasing loot quality or quantity.
What do you think people do to get that loot? They do that thing you were complaining about earlier, they were doing the same thing over and over to reach their goal. That's literally grinding. Whether it's for levels, or loot, or coins to buy card packs for their ultimate team in FIFA or whatever that game's called these days, it's all grinding and many people fucking love it.

Also, that's an optional mod. Some people install that, many are perfectly fine with the game as it is and have been for decades. Someone made a mod that changed the dragons in Skyrim to look like Thomas the Tank Engine, that doesn't mean there's something wrong with the dragons in Skyrim.

And none of those games have a progress erasing feature because you did something wrong without realizing it or without game telling you about it. You can easily get out of a bad situation in those games, because they have clear descriptions so you can predict outcome of any action you do. Meanwhile in KP if you happened to get a lot of bad passives(which have unlocking conditions that you can't even see) your progress will be erased because game quickly spirals into an orgasm loop. Have fun unlocking those skills and edicts again, because according to you this is so fun!
Uhh no, sorry. I mentioned Diablo 2 that has hardcore mode, a mode that can literally erase tens or even hundreds of hours of progress if you make 1 simple mistake or lose concentration. I'm sure you've heard of it.

I also mentioned Cultist Simulator and that game straight up says it's not going to teach you anything and it's better for you to just play around with the mechanics until you get the hang of how it actually works. The game expects you to struggle and it expects you to die, over and over. It's also a great game. 7k+ reviews on steam and over 80% of them are positive.

Once again, yeah, to some people struggling like that is fun. If you don't like it, that's fine, you're free to spend your time playing 1 of the many games out there that suit your tastes but that doesn't mean the ones that don't are bad.

In Hades you get your skills/weapons at the start of of the game and new skills all the time so losing the game and starting from beginning isn't bad.
In Dead Cells you get your skills/weapons at the start of the game and new skills/weapons all the time so losing the game and starting from beginning isn't bad.
Same goes for Binding of Isaac.
In KP you start with NOTHING. You have to unlock all those skills/edicts AGAIN.
This is factually incorrect. In KP you can choose to keep your levels and skills if you want but even if you reset them, you keep all the titles you've unlocked and the passives that come with them. The benefits those provide can be substantial.

You have played this game that you've been complaining about all this time, right?

You can go on but your points are invalid, fact is you are just trying to defend a game you liked. Whether you realize this fact or not doesn't matter.

I can easily find 100's of same type reviews. Fact is, I don't care enough to provide them and I know even if I did you'd ignore them anyway.
I'm not ignoring a thing you've said. If you came up with any criticism that didn't boil down to, "I didn't like this thing the game did so it's a bad game wah! Stop liking things I like waaah!" then it'd be a different story but you haven't.

Its so funny to see the topic of the thread to be changed drastically
From asking about the silly question , the people are now arguing about reviews and grinding

But mr. purple heart , even if i don't wish to argue with u as u have helped me many times on this thread about many things

i am disappointed to type that the game does offer u to keep ur rank , skills , etc.
for people who say grinding is hard , u actually didn't explore the one shot skills of Karryn
if u don't wanna loose fight , they are helpful
the edict system does makes the game easy if u use it properly
the npcs help u in edicts and titles which are wise to take and make the game somewhat less grinding
the cat also give some important info and the notes kept on table are also somewhat helpful

what i want to say that we just need to explore the game more to make it less painful and more fun

Gee, I wonder which platform's users rightfully review bombed the game on metacric. Meanwhile, on another platform where technical issues were less present:
Untitled (2).png
47,000 reviews mostly positive on launch day. Do you think this game deserved this at launch? Game was objectively bad even without technical problems, yet it was still "mostly positive". If this doesn't tell you review ratings doesn't matter I don't know what will.

for the most part and even now with it getting for the most part only 10s and 9s it can't recover from the early reviews.
It can't recover? Fact:
Untitled.png
With nearly 600,000 reviews it is currently rated "very positive".
Compare this to just 34,500 reviews on metacritic:
Untitled (3).png

But sure, you are a true crusader of facts. Facts that are nothing more than your personal opinion.
These are bold words coming from someone who is lying.

Guys or gals this discussion is starting to get out of hand, it's ok not to like a game, if you like it good for you, if you don't like it good for you, everyone is entitled to what they like or don't like, let it be.

Ah, now you are cherry picking which source is right and which is wrong? Must be easy living in your bubble and when someone comes with facts you scramble to come with random excuses don't ya?

Steam only gives you an option to give a positive or negative review. So guess what, someone that still likes a game, even if it is only like a 6 or 7 out of 10, they will leave a positive review. Also again, your "I say the game was just bad at release and that is a fact" is again exactly your "facts". I played the game at release, yes depending on platform/your PC you would have tons of technical problems or you could outright just not play the game. The game also was not finished. But at the end of the day, if someonw still had a lot of fun with the game why should they say the game is bad? You know, you can infact point out issues with the game and the bad stuff and still like a game. I know must be shocking to you.

Also did it recover on Steam hm? At release the game was sitting at 75%. Now it is 81%.

At least try to come up with something if you wanna call me a liar.

Edit: But u guys are right that this is pointless to talk to him. Gonna stop now, this is useless anyway.

Whether it's for levels, or loot, or coins to buy card packs for their ultimate team in FIFA or whatever that game's called these days, it's all grinding and many people fucking love it.
Do you REALLY think people play these games because they like grinding OR because of the thrill of getting potentially legendary loot as rewards? I can guarantee you nothing would be changed if devs lessened the grinding. If devs had removed or replaced loot system of diablo 2 that game wouldn't even be known by anyone today.

Also, that's an optional mod. Some people install that, many are perfectly fine with the game as it is and have been for decades. Someone made a mod that changed the dragons in Skyrim to look like Thomas the Tank Engine, that doesn't mean there's something wrong with the dragons in Skyrim.
Isn't it funny how mods that increase grinding are so rare but mods that decrease grinding are so common for any game in general? It is almost as if people aren't attracted to grinding but something else.

I've completed that game once vanilla and several times with mods. It doesn't straight up tell you how to play but if you know how to read you can easily guess which actions leads to which results. Can you say the same for, for example KP's hidden passive unlocking conditions? How are you going to read something that doesn't exist? And once you unlock a passive there is no way to remove it, but for example can you get rid of detectives in Cultist Simulator? Answer is yes, you can.

This is factually incorrect. In KP you can choose to keep your levels and skills if you want but even if you reset them, you keep all the titles you've unlocked and the passives that come with them.
You have played this game that you've been complaining about all this time, right?
I completed the game on medium difficulty back when v1.0 was released.

The benefits those provide can be substantial.
Ah yes benefits such as sight resist and sex resist nerf :KEK:
Pure White Stained Bride
Proof of a bride who entered Free Play Mode with a slut level over 400. (Happy End)
Passive: Warden Level Limit +1 Order -10 (Equip once to get effects for this playthrough)
Equip Effects: Charm Growth +42% Sight resist -42% Sex Resist -42%

I'm not ignoring a thing you've said. If you came up with any criticism that didn't boil down to, "I didn't like this thing the game did so it's a bad game wah! Stop liking things I like waaah!" then it'd be a different story but you haven't.
I don't care about people's opinions. When I say grinding is objectively a bad game design and ask you to explain(if you can) why it isn't a bad game design you failed to come up with an answer other than "because opinions". Doing the same thing over and over again without getting bored is infact called Obsessive-compulsive disorder, and that's a fact.

any criticism that didn't boil down to, "I didn't like this thing the game did so it's a bad game wah! Stop liking things I like waaah!"
I find it funny how this argument works for both ways. When I or someone else write something negative about the game, responses are "stop disliking things I like". When I or someone else writes something positive about the game no one is allowed to response same way and say "stop liking things I dislike".

People are heavily exaggrating this game. I already written game is average for normal game standards and good for porn game standards. Hell, I've even rated it here. You or anyone else literally cannot tell me ONE SINGLE THING about this game that objectively makes this game so good it should never be criticized and those that criticize it should be ostricized like all of you are currently doing. I've been around for a long time and ANYTIME someone criticized this game or talks about it in a slightly negative way there is always this crowd whose arguments always boils down to either "muh ratings" or "you suck, opinion discarded etc". These "arguments" are acceptable but apparently mines, which are based on facts(not feelings) aren't?
