I keep running into an issue where when the game autosaves there's a chance I'll get an infinite loading screen (or at least 1 hour because I went and got lunch while waiting for it and just exited the game when it still wasn't done) and any time I try to load that save it always is an infinite loading screen. Is there a way to turn off autosaves or fix this issue? I know there's not a built in easy method (I don't think so at least), but is the a way to manually tweak the games files to turn off autosave?

The batch files are useless for everyone who isn't me. They shouldn't do anything that can break something though.
First, thank you for checking in, and clarifying the use of the batch file.

Second, I tested again on a clean install of the game this evening, and I can't get the game to save for me if I add your mod. Here is my setup :

It obviously works for other people here, but I can't figure out why it would not on my setup. I enjoy the game enough as it comes vanilla, but I admit I wouldn't mind adding some of the features of your delicious looking mod to it (even if it means that I have to go through the intimidatingly long config file to tweak it back to my tastes, which is only fair). You have a long-time preggo games fan here.

Halp again, please (and sorry in advance if I'm missing something obvious, I'm kind of tired after my work day).

The mod disables autosave. Instead use the manual save button.

Actually, CC_Mod.js:

const CCMod_disableAutosave = true;

change it to false

There really should just be a seperate thread for the pregnant mod so people can discuss over there, questions, answers, fixes, what'd they like to see added in the MOD, etc.

It'd help not jam up this thread and be alot easier for people curious about the mod.

I honestly second this, the topic itself seems to irk some fans to no end so we should dedicate a thread to it where we can freely discuss it without getting in the way of the general thread.
Though I don't know how helpful it would be at this stage, as the game is only roughly 50% done.

Dev has already said, that the game is 60-70% done.

The mod disables autosave.
You're correct.

The main mod (CC_PregMod) is hooked to a secondary "tweaks" mod (CC_Mod), through a new "exhibitionist" stat. Tweaks are as varied as cheats, making sidejobs and combat significantly easier (which isn't desirable to me), or vanilla core alterations, like replacing the behaviour of the clothed menu avatar and autosaves (enforced on higher difficulties) by manual saves, without really warning the player beforehand. At the moment, .

I'd like to commend the author for documenting their code. Still, one cannot expect the average player to have the knowledge or the patience to dig into JS config files. Something that could be easily improved would be to leave the replaced "vanilla" values somewhere, to restore them if needed, like so :

Code:
// Cost for serving drinks, moving, and returning to bar
// const CCMod_waitressStaminaCostMult = <whatever standard value is>;
const CCMod_waitressStaminaCostMult = 1.375;
I fully understand and respect what the mod author did with their creation. It's THEIR mod, they created it for their own enjoyment first and foremost, and kindly shared it with the community. However, I remain convinced that the better mods are the ones focusing on one, or a very select group of features. This is true for any game. They're easier to debug, to maintain and to enjoy for everyone when we 100% know what we're getting prior to installing them. With that being said, I'll rest my case and stop spamming the thread.

So I just found out about this game. While it was downloading, I read through this and saw there is a mod. so I downloaded that as well.

I never do this, but I actually tried the mod first to see if I liked it on hard difficulty but only up to the end of 1st lvl. Then I tried the original.

So first thing I noticed is I had 200 edicts and I could get as many combat skills I wanted from the start but not the rest. I knew from the start this felt more like a cheat.

I went through the first floor, then lost to the boss. Then I beat him the 2nd time. Didn't take long.

So then I tried the original. As I thought, 2 edicts from the start and I struggled on the first fight.

I do like the pregnancy bit and the clothes staying torn off. If there is a way to just add those 2 on the vanilla, let me know. Assuming the pregnancy part isn't drawn since I slept for a few days and nothing happened.

Wish I knew how to mod but I have very little coding xp

update: Nvm. I found this

The next thing on my todo list is to disable all vanilla tweaks by default and move everything into a config file. Though as for when I get around to it, since I'm not being paid, is very much on a "when I feel like it" schedule.
So you will remove the tweaks done to the game and have the pregnancy and cloths part left on it? So I guess I should just wait?

edit - Also, why can't we have allies? Why is she single handedly trying to fight everyone in the prison? I think its dumb that you can't add allies to your party. A simple system where you can use cash or something to add allies would be nice.

I'll probably make a suggestion on patreon but this game could use one more heroine.

Update - ok, I found the js file I"m suppose to edit. When he said at the top in the read me, I thought I had to find something like skilledicts.js or something. There is a CC_mod.js

Half the time her own guards and employees are trying to assault her as well; who the hell is going to join her party?

I thought this site had separated threads for mods.

The last time I played, I managed to beat the third (and at the time, final) boss without the MC ever succumbing to corruption. I stopped there since I felt that the game will just shoehorn players down the path of depravity no matter what they do afterwards. I got the feeling after reading a bunch of posts a month ago or so that fate was inevitable for Karryn.

Is it possible to create a "pure", incorruptible, heroic, takes-no-shit sadist of a warden for Karryn in this game? (Being a sadist is unavoidable if you're beating prisoners back left and right and knocking sense into them.)

For instance, something like this ice queen...
