I half-agree.
That's why I'm able to play the game myself. Last time I got tricked into playing a full NTR game (developer intentionally mistagged)
I was miserable. Would never mod that game.
However, Karryn's Prison isn't so egregious that I hate it. It's enough where I don't like it enough to join a discord community on it and post my mod there if that makes sense.
Now I understand you NTR fans getting defensive when someone hates a game for including it, but you can at least let me like a game less because of it right?

I don't care? The game intentionally tries to give the feeling that the emperor is a good person, and presents their relationship as one on the cusp of marriage. And obviously he knows what's going on in the prison. Karryn can't receive his sincere gifts if her slut level's too high.
He genuinely cares about the prison and its inmates. Which honestly... looking at leadership in real life... I wish we had rulers that empathetic and caring.
He genuinely sees Karryn's stuck-up nature as a problem, and wants her to interact with people she deems below her, so she can become better as a person.
Seeing normal people as people who need help regardless of if they're criminals or not, makes me really like him.
Maybe I'm basic, I don't care, but I genuinely liked him for the 4 seconds he was on screen, which is what's supposed to happen for NTR. And of course the ending of the game dials the NTR up to 11. No matter how you feel about that element up until that point, seeing Karryn get railed by the entire prison in her wedding gown should at least get you to feel something right XD? I hope.
Either way, I didn't post my mod to complain about the NTR element.
It's Remtairy's game, and Remtairy's a cuck so he included the cuck elements he enjoyed. There's literally nothing wrong with that.

I don't think your take is invalid. I think the distinction for most people on whether something is NTR comes down to how much of a relationship the characters have. The fact that Karryn gets married in both endings is evidence enough of the game being rooted in NTR, but the way the main portion of the game handles the characters would be grounds for saying otherwise (to me at least).
Besides inarguably the last letter which signifies the Emperor's true intent, there's nothing else in the game that shows they have any deep relationship past friends/coworkers. If not for that and the two endings, there is basically nothing in the adventure that paints a picture of a deep romance. Even more so when you take into account none of Karryn's solo scenes even mentioning the Emperor. She only mentions him when failing her mission becomes likely and she wants to motivate herself to keep going. It comes off as respect rather than love.
The game could have really benefited from having a comparable Empress Ending to the Happy End where you actually got to see their romance in full swing...or at least some kind of significant reward for the effort from a gameplay perspective

Karryn needs to be wet, naked or atleast partially naked, her cock & other related desire must be equal to or greater than 100, enemy needs to be not angry and be able to initiate the kind of sex you want to see happen. If that sex happens enough times eventually a passive related to it will be unlocked allowing Karryn to perform the sex skill without waiting for enemies to use it on her(sex requirements are mostly unchanged). These skills are your "sex on command" skills. If you learn how to play the game you won't need cheats.

Secretary and Lady Stance are the two energy moves you'll have to use when Karryn has no other actions she can take, and she doesn't learn Pleasure Stance until she's a slut. I can't be the only one that thinks the gameplay in this is an absolute stinker, right? For a game with so much combat it sure has a really bad and repetitive combat system. Not to mention there's very little strategy other than "pick dexterity and spam it" even though there's a rock-paper-scissors thing going on. That´s the thing, I used the cheats to put her in the state I thought it´ll work, wet, horny, cock and vaginal desire above 100 the Orc boss tonkin only enemy on the field while being horny too, make her loose her stamina so she´ll be on the ground naked, everything I thought made sense and, even after many turns, nothing.

Like I said, the enemy needs to be able to initiate it. Most enemies can join any pose but not all of them can start every pose. It is possible that boss don't have the ability to start vaginal sex pose. It is also possible it can start it but has a low chance to do so. Try using the searchbar in this thread, maybe you can find someone who managed to get the boss start a vaginal sex pose.

Those are the exact things I'm referencing. When you pair them up with the other things she says pre-slut, I don't (personally) take it as if she's comparing them romantically. More along the lines of a, "The guy I used to work under was a great man...these guys I have to be around 24/7 now are freakin' losers," type of mindset. Add into that how the mechanics work narratively (Karryn has to "want" something to happen for her to allow it), and that's just the impression I get.
I'm not saying devs can't do what they want, I'm just saying it sucks as the audience to not get something worthwhile for the effort. It doesn't have to be a fleshed out ending, but you just get a less meaningfully tangible reward for going for the Empress Ending. You get to experiment and see the content at your leisure in the Happy End + get to see a unique scene, but the Empress one just boots you to New Game+. No scene, no gameplay changes/additions, heck you even lose access to the Sound Test since it's only available in the Happy End.
As a dev, I'd want the more fulfilling experience to be the one that requires more time/effort. Most games are built with that in mind, having alternate game modes unlocked, an extended last act, or a post-game of some kind.
