Mainly just a cool area to explore but u can also find some ingredients there. Prob some boss in future updates too since there are areas where u cant go yet or are just blocked off with a log. Its not too hard to find u just have to screw around trying to get past things the game says u cant yet.

Lol, I hear you bro. And I have been on this thread for other stuff in the past too. But I have learned in my life, especially recently, that if you don't aggressively Gatekeep the shit out of what you like, next thing you know it is ruined and has NOTHING in common with what it once was sadly.

I seriously doubt teary will add that much femboydom content but I do understand your reasoning man. hopefully this update comes out sooner rather than later and we can both enjoy the content we wish for.

Okay, but you know that's not actually a thing, right? When you say you're gatekeeping you're accomplishing nothing. If Teary wants to add it they will. If people who like things you don't like come along you can't stop them. "To gatekeep" defined is just a form of cope where you pretend to be responsible for it for as long as the thing you don't want to happen doesn't happen.

First off, don’t put your own gender belief in this thread, people have their own opinions on that matter… Second, people can have their own opinions on what should be in the game, but it’s up to the creator himself on if he wants to put femboy content in the game… I personally don’t want it but people can ask for because some people have that fetish maybe he’ll have an option to turn that fetish on or off?? But we’ll have to see the final product of it when it comes out, hopefully sooner rather than later

I've mostly peaced out of the femboydom debate 'cause it won't go anywhere, people have their own tastes and turn-offs. But my overall take is; Evizzy's got it right about Teary seemingly not caring much for the audience. I don't really mean that as a bad thing, my point is that the game seems to be mostly carried by Teary's own passion. It's evident by the fact that the game is far, far bigger than a porn game would ever need to be, and by the fact that he's not really making that much money compared to other devs in the genre (and he's for sure not making enough to live off of it lmao)

Maybe I'm reading Teary completely wrong, I don't know the guy (or if he's a guy lol), but Katalist seems to be an artistic project first and foremost. So... let Teary make whathever he wants, I guess. It's true that femboydom is not femdom IMO, but if Teary wants to add it, then that's all there is to it. Feel free to ignore it if you want, since as said before, it only appears to be a toggle than can be turned off.

Instead of being annoyed about more content, let's get annoyed by the zero communication, folks



As a last, separate note; funnily enough, Teary actually once showed up in Discord to clarify that he didn't make Cherry Hill (the school theme), which is apparently by one Sorayuki. Not sure who made the main menu song, though. Oh, and also, trans women are women. Kinda funny how the debate about whether femboydom and futa are femdom or not shows that ultimately, genders are a pretty silly thing.

He’s one of those developers that focuses more on the development of the game, than interacting with his community… which isn’t a bad thing, sure he COULD be more interactive but that’s just how some developers are, some are interactive with the community and some are not. It’s not really nice to say that he’s “milking” the project, he just does much bigger updates than other developers so it takes longer… like I said he could do progress reports but now we’re just nitpicking everything… excited about the update if it come out this weekend and if it doesn’t, that just means he’s polishing it up or he’s still adding stuff!

I'm reminded of ToT Koda who interacts A LOT with the community, but all he says is delayed, pickaxe, working on it, lol. 3 years later nothing.

Definitely agree, it only takes 30 seconds to make a tiny post just saying it took longer than expected. Don't even need a reason why it wasn't posted this weekend, just some tiny form of communication.

Overall I do believe Teary is one of the better devs out there, and I'm more than happy to wait as long as it takes for an update to release, because I know it will be quality.

Hey, all this talk and discussions we're having, just shows how all of us have a passion for this game and hoping for the best!! Yes we all want the release (especially sooner or later) But it's great to talk to other, who are interested in this type of stuff!
