Mainly just a cool area to explore but u can also find some ingredients there. Prob some boss in future updates too since there are areas where u cant go yet or are just blocked off with a log. Its not too hard to find u just have to screw around trying to get past things the game says u cant yet.

Okay, but you know that's not actually a thing, right? When you say you're gatekeeping you're accomplishing nothing. If Teary wants to add it they will. If people who like things you don't like come along you can't stop them. "To gatekeep" defined is just a form of cope where you pretend to be responsible for it for as long as the thing you don't want to happen doesn't happen.

First off, don’t put your own gender belief in this thread, people have their own opinions on that matter… Second, people can have their own opinions on what should be in the game, but it’s up to the creator himself on if he wants to put femboy content in the game… I personally don’t want it but people can ask for because some people have that fetish

kinda funny how one can tell that an update is about to drop merely by seeing how the discussions here seem to heat up lol. well, i'm mostly with DemonLord98 on that topic, but i can live with whatever, as long as we can just deactivate it by toggle.
sadly nothing new from teary in the last 5 days. his last words were he needs 2-3 more days...
I've mostly peaced out of the femboydom debate 'cause it won't go anywhere, people have their own tastes and turn-offs. But my overall take is; Evizzy's got it right about Teary seemingly not caring much for the audience. I don't really mean that as a bad thing, my point is that the game seems to be mostly carried by Teary's own passion. It's evident by the fact that the game is far, far bigger than a porn game would ever need to be, and by the fact that he's not really making that much money compared to other devs in the genre (and he's for sure not making enough to live off of it lmao)
Maybe I'm reading Teary completely wrong, I don't know the guy (or if he's a guy lol), but Katalist seems to be an artistic project first and foremost. So... let Teary make whathever he wants, I guess. It's true that femboydom is not femdom IMO, but if Teary wants to add it, then that's all there is to it. Feel free to ignore it if you want, since as said before, it only appears to be a toggle than can be turned off.
Instead of being annoyed about more content, let's get annoyed by the zero communication, folks
As a last, separate note; funnily enough, Teary actually once showed up in Discord to clarify that he didn't make Cherry Hill (the school theme), which is apparently by one Sorayuki. Not sure who made the main menu song, though. Oh, and also, trans women are women. Sorry. Trans-women are not real women. You will never convince me otherwise. I don't hate them, they deserve all the same human rights as us, I'll be nice to them. But as a straight guy, I will never view them as real women, sorry. I only say this because others now keep bringing up what they believe in.

He’s one of those developers that focuses more on the development of the game, than interacting with his community… which isn’t a bad thing, sure he COULD be more interactive but that’s just how some developers are, some are interactive with the community and some are not. It’s not really nice to say that he’s “milking” the project, he just does much bigger updates than other developers so it takes longer… like I said he could do progress reports but now we’re just nitpicking everything… excited about the update if it come out this weekend and if it doesn’t, that just means he’s polishing it up or he’s still adding stuff!

i don't wanna shit-talk teary too much, but it still is a bad thing. paying customers at least want to know what's going on. sure, this may say nothing about teary as a developer, but it is bad for business. noone is asking him to hang out here or in his discord, but giving a short "stuff came up. need a few more days." isn't really that much to ask. i think it woud sooth people down quite alot and make him more money in the long run.

Definitely agree, it only takes 30 seconds to make a tiny post just saying it took longer than expected. Don't even need a reason why it wasn't posted this weekend, just some tiny form of communication.
Overall I do believe Teary is one of the better devs out there, and I'm more than happy to wait as long as it takes for an update to release, because I know it will be quality.
