I hate to disappoint you, but the general lack of reaction would lead me to believe that there is little to no interest in any more KC-related content.
Accordingly, I probably won't bother spending any more time on it.

I was busy with my own crossover thingie when you let this drop, so apologies for not commenting earlier.
I haven't played it, mainly because my quick scan of the renders came across that' dirty slut' thing in there, which is a direction that I wasn't particularly interested in with Katie. Indeed, I'm not a fan of dark corruption games in general. I was onboard mainly because I thought Katie was cute, but I still loosely followed the game after it became clear that this was a degradation game, mainly because I was still enjoying some of the renders.
However, looking over your renders again, they do look very nice/of decent quality, and you obviously put some love into your effort.
Even if you did use that 'overused' apartment again (I'm just poking fun here).
I was interested in a different outcome for the KC story that I've commented before, i.e. the one I suggested where Katie and her dad hook up, kick Brian and bossman to the curb, and go off on their own. But that's just one alternate outcome, and doesn't in any way invalidate your idea.
But for those LOOKING for such things, yeah I think you were off to a very good start. I can see how less than a dozen likes could put you off though. Most people that follow KC wanted to see more of Katie going down a dark path/getting herself into questionable situations, so I applaud your efforts in this regard.
I think you'd get a more direct response if you created a separate 'mod' thread for your continuation, or even a new game thread, since it does appear to be a new story set in the KC universe. It's currently buried in this thread, and it's easy to overlook posts.
You did put that 'to be continued' in your story, so you've already 'teased' those that have played/read your story. So a followup would be nice.
So don't give up so easily! Yeah, I know that 'putting yourself out there' by starting a new thread for your fan story can be a bit intimidating, but I think you'd get a better response if you did. AND I think there are enough people that played this game before it was abandoned that would give your story a spin, but that have simply missed the release.

After all, it's been months since KC had a formal update, so most people aren't watching this thread anymore. Sure, 3diddly did finally share a few more renders in the last few weeks, but I'm sure that most people missed those too. Even if you just posted a new thread in general (the moderators could move it to mods afterwords as appropriate), yeah I think that'd generate some interest. A new game thread would be even better, as then it would appear in the 'latest updates'.
