So a smoll summary for the current delay:
The script for the update is about halfway done. I got very Ill mid november and had to completely stop working on the game for like 2 weeks. So my current plan is to get the update out until christmas but I doubt I'll be able to get it out until then. I do have depression for various reasons and knowing I don't get myself to work on the game allthough I would love to doesn't help my situation. I did made a lot of progress on some private matter last month but it will still take time unfortunately. (I am going to therapy by now and other things). I'm sorry~

tldr: update is further delayed until january/february .-.
Hi Lumari,
Thank you for sharing what you’re going through. It takes courage to talk about something as personal as mental health, and even more to do so publicly with the people following your project. You don’t have to apologize — taking care of yourself is more important than any release date, and the fact that you’re going to therapy and making progress is already something to be proud of.

Many of us are excited for the update, yes, but what matters most is that you are well while creating it. Progress isn’t always fast or steady, and it’s okay if January or February becomes part of the journey too. Creativity grows better when the mind has room to breathe, and we’re willing to wait as long as you need.

I hope you can move forward without pressure, at your own pace, listening to yourself. Your work has value, but you as a person matter even more. We’ll be here, supporting you, and looking forward to your return whenever you feel ready.

Stay strong, take care — one step at a time.

Tbh while I thoroughly enjoyed the release pace when you were working on the first game it always seemed ridiculously fast to me so you've earned your rest lol.

Hopefully things work out well for you and anybody else having a hard time that's reading this.

Trying to give us the update is nice and all but taking care of your own health should come first
People can wait for a game to update but someone's own wellbeing shouldn't be delayed,

So don't be sorry for wanting to prioritize your own health and taking it easy, plus you can't really rush perfection and perfection could only be delivered when the one making it is in their best shape

There's nothing wrong with how Keepers 1 true ending was set up, just because you don't like it doesn't make it terrible
It would be pretty lame if you were given multiple choices just to conclude on one ending, like what's the point of having different choices if it doesn't affect the story in any way
True, the whole point of multiple choices is ramifications of the Canon story happenining, which of course should give different endings, I don't even get what he is whining about... You finish the story once and u can play the story again but with the true path mode, where no matter what u will get true ending if I remember right, I just used that and skipped all the way, i reckon it didn't even take me 5 minutes to get the true ending after I finished the game with an alt ending. "you should rework that" giving the already overloaded with work dev more stuff to do because u can't be bothered to skip stuff for 5 minutes is insane. Most devs to begin with want to add different endings, it's a creative delight for most, but what usually stops them is deadlines, resources, amount of work.
But if they had the opportunity most would add different paths and endings in a story that they're enjoying making, it's a damn good thing and allows us to learn more about other characters and the world in itself, in a perspective we wouldn't get from the main path alone, never seen someone hate different endings in any game until now
