thanks but when I joined back it didn't show up, at least I got all the scenes and I can rest now
It should be X by default if you're going between areas on the worldmap. If you rebound the X key, it should be whatever it was changed to. It's the cancel button, if you're using controller.

I've installed locale emulator and I've installed the RTP but nothing happens when I try to open the game?
RTP? There's no RTP needed for this engine, it's standalone. All you should have to do is unpack the game and run the exe.
Please see my posts #185 and #188 for general advice on working around issues with the game not launching to see if that does anything. Someone also mentioned issues with DEP on Windows.
The unpacked size should be around 556MB if you unpacked it properly, as a note compared to what I stated in #188.

Hello, I've found the book in the castle (which I assume is part 2 of the castle) but I don't know what to do know and I haven't unlocked everything. I don't know what this wine scene is and there's no shady merchant in town.

Finding the spellbook is only the first event of the castle area with Quada. I believe you have to go talk to Mel to find out Quada didn't return. Or just go spam talk to everyone in town, barring anything there, you may just have to go a new direction in the castle area. The Wine scene is the last scene in the game.

What does this even mean? With most games on this site you just extract the zip file to its own folder, run the EXE and it works, what do you mean you have to unpack the game?
Exactly what you said. I can't say that it's uncommon that people come for help about games like this, having not unpacked a rar and gotten confused about why it's not working properly.
If you did properly do said step though, #188 is your next best starting point for troubleshooting.

I've got no better way to word this, so are you certain it runs at 2x speed? I've never heard of this myself, so I'm not certain where to even start. Perhaps it's tied to framerate? If you go into System.ini and change the VSync value to 0 or 1, does that change anything?
It was initially set at 2, when i swapped it to 1 it didn't appear to change the speed at all whilst setting it to 0 appeared to grind the game to a sluggish halt. I'm near certain that it is at 2x speed as everything feels very fast, i have little time to react to anything (such as the ghosts that move fast naturally) and it looks fast when comparing the gallery to any of the uploaded gallery's i could find.

PS: sorry for late reply i dont use the site much x

Well at least we're verifying it's probably tied to fps.

-If you put ShowFps to 1, can you double check what setting vsync to 1 does? (Prior to trying other steps.)

-What's the value of Direct3D in the ini? This value has different effects on vsync values for the ini.

This might be resolved by trying different values again for Vsync if your Direct3D was set to 1, but we change it to 0 and try again.

Right so by having the VSYNC set to 1 or 2 it gets in and around 120 - 125 fps but when its set to 0 it gets a pretty rough 60, like it says 60 but it feels more like 10 and there is a decent chunk of screen tear (im running a 10750H and a 3050ti with 32gb ram specs shouldn't b no bother)

Changing theDirect3D to 1 made no changes either but when it was set to 0 the game had a tendency to green screen and fail to render everything on screen.
