uhm.. hi.. not sure what to do atm...
I've been making this game since the summer.. around juni the first release came... my concern now when I lost a big contributer is that I only earn 13 dollars more then I did the month after the first release.. so now I'm abit unsure about the whole game... in around 4 months... the game will be a year old.. and I know not to compare to much to other games.. but I can easily see that the income for Kendra's world is really low... so abit unsure on the interest in my game at all right now... because it takes alot of time to make it.. (my time where I could do other things if not since this is my main income) so I'm abit unsure what ppl want... those Things I heard that ppl wanted changed so far is...
dont use voice I've gotten.. (some wanted more) and that my English are not good enough.. (but I've seen games with worse English suriving better) so I could need some better pointers now.. so far each update I've made have been bigger then the previous.. and I'm kinda loosing abit moral right now since I'm doing alot of work for little Income..
I know that not everyone cant help financialy.. but there is other way to support if you really like a game.. like advertising it.. helping to get it out.. because right now.. I got almost the same Income I had the month after first release... (sorry for beeing abit down when posting this)

Are you in fear about it's future just because it's not making you any money? Or because you think money = interest? Or because you are not getting enough interest in general, regardless if makes money or not?
Is your goal to just make money off it? Or is it a passion that isn't effected by money?
I can recommend a couple things to increase interest... First, get a properly translated/interpreted manuscript... 9 times out of 10, for any English speaking consumer, they are going to see the broken English and run for the hills... If you want to cater to the English speaking market, that has to be a high priority... Secondly, if this is supposed to be a Visual Novel, then people expect to have some decent story telling on some level... Visual Novels are text based stories where the Visuals are there to support the narrative, not the other way around... If this game is standing only on it's visuals, and not the story, then you might as well remove the Visual Novel part from it's description and just make it a game with some story elements... I know when I see VN/Visual Novel, I expect at a minimum that half the experience is the story text, otherwise it's not really a Visual Novel...
Some other folks mention earlier in the thread some other things, that since this is an RPGM game, and uses it's sprite and map functions, the character sprites need to somewhat match up with the character 3D visuals... Things like that add polish to the game, knowing the developer took the time to work on the small details that add to the Immersion... Stuff like that... Be careful about over doing it on the RPGM mini-games... Most players who play RPGM Visual Novels don't want to be continuously distracted by meaningless mini-games over and over and over again... I'm sure there are some folks who love that, but again they tend to distract from the story...
Another issue you may run into, is that a lot of folks see RPGM and don't even bother trying it out... This typically is because so many RPGM games put so much focus on running around a map and mini-games, that people don't want to spend half their game day doing meaningless navigation and pointless mini-games, so they see RPGM and skip to the next game... Not that there are not a lot of fans of RPGM games, don't get me wrong... But I just needed to point that factor out...
