Yep, it needs to be remade, already tested it.
However, the turn freeze is rather easy to make for the new alice engine, so if anybody needs it, imma post it

Ok, for some reason Babolat wont die even when he is killed through the event that is meant to get rid of him. Same with Kaito, did all the events related to the Green Village but he will keep atacking my territories. I really dont know if this is because of the mod or my game just went mad
I have a problem
I am playing this game on Linux Mint 22.2 "Zara" using wine,I runned the inmm238.exe(once) then run the system39.exe,(i install cjkfonts and tahoma etc to make sure the text shows), now the main problem is that there is no music and the menus are garbled, it says there is a registration error and i should run inmmcnf.exe which i do and then change the WAV and MP3 players from Directshow to MCI, now it should work but the problem still persists and after i checked basically the settings were back to how they were. I tried to change the settings/player multiple times but it reverts back everytime, there is also a pop up asking to press OK after like every action and such alongside the no music and menu problems. Now what should i do? or is it just basically impossible for me to run the game perfectly with wine? I am using the windows verison(i.e the one on this forum) because of the sparrow mod, and if nothing works i can just use the AppImage version instead, Which runs natively but there is one problem with that that being it doesnt have sparrow mod which in my eyes is a huge disadvantage,also i can't utilize the cheat engine on the AppImage version as well which is another thing i was hoping for as the game is very hard as i have heard and nearly everyone uess it.Please anyone who knows how to solve this, help me

This is working perfectly by bypassing wine and using system35 to run the game now there are no problems thankfully, the only thing i think is a little unfortunate is that my save files didn't carry over(i did made it run with wine poorly but it did run i just had to quickly launch the game after using _inmm238.exe, it still had audio issues and i couldn't make this work with sparrow mod) but otherwise it is working amazingly! (Also another thing the garbled menus and some visual artifact were sparrow mod's problem and persists if you use sparrow mod)

Enjoying the game so far. Can anyone give me advice on troop count? Is it worth it to raise a units troop count given that the increase is so ridiculously low? Adding 25 troops to Rick or Rance per turn seems so pointless. I figure that players ignore this option/mechanic for most of the game with maybe the exception of the mage troops.
Having H or talking to one of your units sets an event trigger where you get Anasel at Golak which then causes the Helmanian Army event to spawn. You have two choices. Just grind at Vladivostok as Ruberan will just always be at Golak waiting for you to come and get Merci or just don't H or talk to your army until you've reached a satisfactory level.

I read on the wiki that she can sometimes be in a different city than she shows up in, but at this point i've checked half the map, and having to reload for every single Leazas spot is... a pain.
Anyways the question is, is there a fix/way to know where she is if she's not where the cutscene took place? lol
I wouldn't be so intent on getting her if she didnt take literally ALL your cash... i need that...

Was there ever any fix for music not looping? Last time i played Kichi music was restarting with fade at the end, either because AliceSoft doesn't know how to loop it, or because it was ported wrong or something. Anyhow, did anyone made a mod to make it all properly looped?
You'll want the Alicesoft Engine Update linked in the original post. The engine update will work with IV, 4.1, 4.2, and Kichikuou that specifically addresses the music loop. Really, both it and the Sparrow Mod make the game more user friendly so I would recommend using both.
