I would of liked a bad ending, you kind of forced that happy ending out of no where.
question: will this game be a sandbox game instead of a vn? like the game "Pilgrimage" by Messman? it would be fun and goodluck
The ending was so abrupt and out of nowhere...
It all escalated very fast and then it was over. Would have been interesting to see what the day at the clothes shop was supposed to be.
I imagine something happened and he had to finish the game, I'm not upset about the happy ending, it's more how weird and sudden it all was. Also, if you want to make it a happy ending, some of those guys should have ended up in prison. I mean, I can understand her being young and stupid and falling for the blackmail but her father, a lawyer could have easily put them in jail.

Nobody asked what was going to happen at the clothes shop. The plan was, Kimberly was going to model skimpy outfits for customers. Each customer who bought something would get the chance to have a private "photo" with Kim. The private photo was actually sex. The owner Pete was going to tell Kim that he spins a wheel on the computer for each client, and it would say winner or loser. But in reality there was no wheel. Pete was just picking the people she would have sex with...the old, fat, and ugly. It was going to be at least 7 men and one of them was going to be Grandpa Elmer.
The ending was so sudden because I needed to get out of that type of game. I started to feel horrible about showing someone be treated so badly...manipulated and blackmailed...I had to get out. I literally was sick to my stomach. I know you will ask "why did I start it then". Well when I started I felt differently about all of it. But people change. Yes I could have shown some of them going to prison, but to me just showing that she got out and lived happily was enough to suffice what I did to her in the first place.
I can totally understand your reasoning behind stopping the development. For me it felt very out there and very fast anyways. I skipped over the story if it got too brutal and imagined a softer version. For me, it would have been better if it was a slower burn type of deal with less rape stuff and more on the not so brutal side. For example the whole clothes shop just the pictures and maybe some modelling skimpy outfits without any sex/rape. That's why I felt the club scene with the homeless and everyone else also felt too much. I usually enjoy corruption and some blackmail but not to this extent. I like it when the blackmail leads to corruption and the woman start to enjoy it while at the same time feeling guilty about it or something, before she totally embraces who she is becoming.
Maybe your next game could be more in that direction, unless you are totally turned off from this type of content and go in a different direction all together. Also having all characters old or ugly is not my cup of tea, maybe it could be a mix or something next time.
Regarding the going to prison thing, for me it was more in the same idea that what they did to her was so horrible (Finn and her grandpa the most) that I would have liked seeing them pay for it but I can understand just wanting to finish it and be done.
