There are two things about this game that bother me.
  • It feels like the beginning of a typical online micro-transaction based game. (n)
  • There were parts of the game I did not make it to, perhaps they are not complete, that look like they had online social elements. I don't know if i am ready for an online social porn game.

new update they remove auto battle 5 times?
Only for normal difficulty

We prepared some changes for you to reduce the xp grind and help out new players.

New player changes:
These changes were made for new players to smooth out start of the game.
Normal difficulty is re balanced so it doesn't require the player to repeat a lot of levels.
  • Players can no longer use auto battle for normal difficulty on a level that is not completed yet
  • Battle x5 unlocks after completing normal difficulty
  • Medium and large xp potions can now be used after completing normal difficulty
  • A new user will always get the same 3 heroes: Alicia, Calien and Valkyrie
  • The boss at the end of normal deals less damage
Xp curve changes
  • Early levels require up to 50% less xp. This falls off to 20% for the highest level
  • xp is now grated on a defeat. 1/3th of the xp per cleared wave
  • xp gain is increased up to 300% for all campaign levels
  • xp gain is no longer based on the level of the hero vs the level difficulty
  • Required xp is no longer based on the current star of the hero ( This makes it easier to level up your higher star heroes when they are low level )

thanx...so there is no battle 5x for normal lvl...

Wow actual good update! I have yet to play it again so I don't know how much it solves the issue, but hopefully its fine now. All that's left is the resounding lack of actual animations and the fact the ones that are in the game are spread super thin (aka after the first 2-3 good luck playing for 6 hours). However solving 1 out of 3 of the most glaring problems is more then a start.

I can’t get this to run, every time I click “Play!” On the launcher a window appears briefly and then crashes, but the audio still plays and the task manager shows the game running. Launching in windowed AND fullscreen does this

@Fujindevil or anyone else. A bit curious about how the stats work in this game.

Some are obvious like Attack and Defense obviously revolve around increasing attack damage or decreasing incoming attack damage.

But some are less obvious.
  • Block. Does this affect incoming attack damage? Or is it just to block incoming effects (like taunt, debuffs, etc.)?
  • Penetration. Does this help penetrate an opponents defense? Or is it just to try to get past the opponents block?
Would be helpful if there were tooltips or a help screen in the game to explain what each stat does. While it's self explanatory for some (speed is obviously the cooldown between actions), it's not so obvious for others.

That said, the game is interesting at this early stage, and I'll be keeping an eye on it.

Thanks for your interest in the game :). We recently added the mage tower to the world map and we will be adding more information on game mechanics here.
I will make sure to include the information you requested inside of the mage tower as well.

But to give you an answer:

Block does 2 things. Resist incoming harmful effects and having a chance to reduce the incoming damage by half.
Penetration is only there to counter the opponents' block.

Our is live
There seems to be a bug with the Valentine's event, or with the choice shards.

Whenever I exit the game and start the game again, my shards are reset to 39 (what it was when I stopped playing it last night).

This has happened 3 times now, and I'm going to guess it'll happen everytime I exit the game and come back to it.

Deleted previous post as I wanted to test more.

I've restarted again and I'm no longer running into Valentine's demons and my choice shards were once again reset to 39.

So, it looks like
  • The game keeps track of how many Valentine's demons I've killed.
  • The game doesn't keep track of how many choice shards I've gotten from the demons
  • Or, the game no longer updates/saves choice shards earned in game at the server? Hence why it resets everytime I restart the game?
Hopefully, there will be a fix. As a guest player there aren't many opportunities to get choice shards, so I'd love to be able to get the ones from the event. :)

The issue has been resolved and shards have been increased of people who encountered the issue.

You really should put a warning out there that game 'eats' all files in the folder it's placed. I had plenty of recently downloaded archives and some notes dissapear just now.

Not sure if it is a bug, but it seems Denise is not using her third skill, hit 5 times on auto.
