I think that sounds accurate. There were creative differences. Sierra had big ideas for the game but Nomo and NDS disagreed.I wouldn't know how to ask this politely, so I'll just go straight to it: didn't Nomo and Sierra split because Sierra wanted to make a complex game, while Nomo just wanted a straight forward rape-on-defeat narration?
I'm not trying to be mean to Nomo, but I was a patron for a while, before the quality plunged, and I genuinely never even imaged Nomo could have enough ambitions of their own to risk any kind of "feature creep". I was they were just lazy and incompetent.
Afterwards, they took on a hack writer and NDS spent way too much time procrastinating. Too many of Hreinn's remaining fans only seem to care about lewds, regardless of how repetitive the sex scenes get, so the story has gone down the drain.
