People think with their dicks and end up supporting slup creators. They've been on the rise since 2023 maybe longer. Then you got those that started out strong but let ego and money get to their heads. That is why I don't support creators anymore bar some exceptions. Most likely not. We see this shit happening all the time, it's almost a coin-flip at this point weather a dev is going to go AWOL when they don't feel like working on a game anymore. If they finally do decide to turn up again, the come with the same excuse about how their mental health prevented them from working. Almost all of them say the exact same thing, and judging by the massive amount of Abandoned games(5k out of the 20k~ games posted here are Abandoned), it's impossible they are all telling the truth. Since when did laziness and lack of common decency to not take advantage of your loyal supporters become attributed to mental illness??
Should be an eye-opener to most of how extremely susceptible patreon-funded games are. That's why supporters should be more thoughtful of who they give money. My personal rule is to not support a creator unless they have at least 1 finished game under their belt, that way I know they actually got the capacity and will to complete something. That's still not a guarantee though, as evident by this case.
Speaking of which, does Noxian Nights have any connection to this game's story or are they completely separate worlds?
