Most likely not. We see this shit happening all the time, it's almost a coin-flip at this point weather a dev is going to go AWOL when they don't feel like working on a game anymore. If they finally do decide to turn up again, the come with the same excuse about how their mental health prevented them from working. Almost all of them say the exact same thing, and judging by the massive amount of Abandoned games(5k out of the 20k~ games posted here are Abandoned), it's impossible they are all telling the truth. Since when did laziness and lack of common decency to not take advantage of your loyal supporters become attributed to mental illness??


Should be an eye-opener to most of how extremely susceptible patreon-funded games are. That's why supporters should be more thoughtful of who they give money. My personal rule is to not support a creator unless they have at least 1 finished game under their belt, that way I know they actually got the capacity and will to complete something. That's still not a guarantee though, as evident by this case.

Speaking of which, does Noxian Nights have any connection to this game's story or are they completely separate worlds?

People think with their dicks and end up supporting slup creators. They've been on the rise since 2023 maybe longer. Then you got those that started out strong but let ego and money get to their heads. That is why I don't support creators anymore bar some exceptions.

Im sorry but I think everyone had enough from 8 years of milking which resulted in something being canned to waiting 2-3 years to have something presentable and another 5-9 years for it to finish. They'll have to show a lot of things for the rest of the year to prove this will be a project that will actually be finished.

This is wrong, the project started to rot and stink since Sierra left, then the era of fast graphics with square men in tents came, which further spoiled the project, but now Nomo is probably dead or gone forever, I don't know who as a new artist, but I became interested in this project thanks to Nomo's drawing, so for many in this topic the project is even dead. The hamsters from patreon have started to understand this

I fucking LOVED Noxian Nights. One of the very VERY few games that stuck with me more than a porn game, so this is VERY disappointing to see. Especially considering I stopped playing the drip feed updates about a year before they halted updates because I just wanted to play it in it's entirety. Fucking RIP.

Yes.
ven before the extremely obvious drop in quality there are dozens of hours of gameplay and 50+ unique, high quality scene. There are a lot of finished games that are smaller than what we have here.
So as long as you are prepared, it can be worth exploring this one.

there's a lot of content, and it's really good in the first part of the game especially
IMO you'll enjoy your time with it, and by the time the drop in quality comes you won't care much that it's abandoned

it's basically the game that helped me decide which kind of spicy game I like. Huge amount of content.
female protag.
corruption.
mature character with an actual personality ( not some innocent sissy ashamed of showing the least bit of skin).
2dcg.
good agency in character choices, and variations of scenes are numerous.
definitely the best game in that specific genre.
definitely bummed out that it got abandoned. what a fucking shame. Sabia and Karryn are my favourite spicy characters.
I must have clocked 30 hours easily on that one.
by the way RPGM navigation and combat would have worked perfectly for that game.

They probably want to make a new game because they don't have the rights to Sabia's drawings.
So, they're inventing a lame excuse to create a game similar to KoD, by attaching themselves to a useless character, who arrived at the end of the game, that no one cares about.

The risk is that Nomo will be resurrected and claim the rights.

What's strangely suspicious is that they all have access to Patreon, but access is apparently difficult. It makes no sense. It smacks of a scam coming from a country not at all known for it. Lol.

We're going to end up with a lousy game that distantly resembles KoD but without the flavor.

They should resolve their confusion, sell the rights to what's left of the game, and let the AI and a few passionate players work on a new version. It would still be less bad.

In two years, Nomo will still be nowhere to be found, and the lousy remix will have produced no satisfactory results.
Except that their double Patreon account traffic will bring them enough rubles to smoke us again and again.
