I think the new leather armor is a step in the right direction. If the protagonist and other female characters in every porn game dress like half-naked whores then the game just feels trashier and juvenile.
There should just be normal metal armor set for her. And other skimpy armor can be magical.

Update Post:

End of month update!

Bugfixes and stuff for .12 should all be completed now and a stable version finalized.

We are working on .13 - the Ylva quest is now written, and the actual CG scene for it (patron pic) is now being worked on.

Additionally, we are fleshing out some of the repeatable scenes that didn't make it in to .12.

The art and variant packs we are aiming to have out within a week.

Attached is a WiP concept for what some of the mini-CGs will be included in the Ylva quest. The repeatable scenes are super handy for this, being able to add extra small content whenever we want.

Thanks for the continued support.

The saves to every renpy game are saved at C:\Users\<Username>\AppData(hidden folder)\Roaming\RenPy\
The saves folder for Kingdom of Deception usually has a number behind it like KoD-3753876816.
The save for the gallery is the persistent save at the bottom, you can also delete any other gameplay save you want.
Additionally you have to delete the persistent save in the game folder (Kingdom_of_Deception-pc\game\saves).
That should set the gallery on locked.

This is by far and away one of my favorite games and I've been following it as long as I can remember. It's a shame the development takes as long as it does, I mean the update prior to this was nearly a year ago- which is pretty insane since I do hope to see it finished one day. I do however have... grievances about the game.

Firstly I don't much care for how there's the hidden indicator of If statements aka "If Dom, then Yes" for scene unlocks. The big one is the scene with Dul. Essentially for you to get the Deal with Ornshakar you must be a Sub main, then flip within the following quests to be Dom prior to dealing with Dul. The big problem is that (at least to my knowledge), there's VERY few Dom points you can even get at that point in the game. I think unless you go for Rockgrid's Feast, it's not even possible to get the flip to happen since you HAVE to have Dom>Sub to get the Dul unlock for that scene. I'd much prefer the earlier game option of picking based on a minimum stat requirement. You can go Dom OR Sub as long as either stat is >10 (for example).

Kul'gan is another grievance. The game tells you he will be executed but there's not really any lines of dialogue to suggest HOW to help him. I think it should be more apparent with a line saying "If I want to help him I'll need to be accepted into the Tribe". Even worse is that since he's so easily passed up, he has no interactions whatsoever past the Orc Raiding nonsense.

The biggest gripe by far and away would be speeding up the quests and removing the 'drought' periods from the game. Essentially you'll hit the Feast section of the game and the H-Content dries up super fast. Grinding for money unlike before gives no CG or anything in particular to even look at, I feel like I'm on a clicking sim farming money. There's grinds at the Feast, the Ba'Ashai/Relief Tent ownership, and Rommel where you need like 300+ gold for each step.

The problem is that more of the quests or events could be queued up earlier and I have ZERO clue why they're included so late in the game. For example, the events to 'advertise' at the store or the General Store harassment event- These should be included FAR earlier on in the game (JUST LIKE THE DRINKING AT THE BAR). The entire Orc Tent section of the map is relatively lacking for a majority of the game. I think there should be a farm-able event there similar to the Relief Tents- and essentially take their place.

There's also plenty of characters who're essentially barren as far as events go. I'd like to compare this game to Queen's Brothel briefly. Either finish the plot/writing and set placeholders for all the upcoming scenes, or start finishing up more events and put a hold on progressing. It feels to me that the issue is we're getting a mix of both and it's unproductive overall.

But look. I love this game despite^^^^^^^^^ all that.
The first days leading up to the ritual is fucking GREAT. The Red God's Arena is awesome. Side quests are all fine.

or you could just follow the walkthrough as it is pretty accurate
Accurate yes, but totally misses key steps, like the one I pointed out in the first line of my spoiler. Doing a simple forum search will show you several other players became stuck on this quest as well, with most of them following the guide, and nobody including this step that solves the issue.

Sorry to cut into you like this, but you should never berate people for just extending their help to others.

i replayed the rescue vehlis mission only following the walkthrough and it is very accurate, i think the confusion people are getting is the fact that the walkthrough does the unlock of scenes its first priority but if you followed it properly it would still make you finish the quest successfully
