There's supposedly an update coming by the end of the month, along with the usual promise of faster updates after that.
Of course, take both sides of that with a massive grain of salt.

Zombie game? It all went to shit even before the main artist left the project and the replacement's work is questionable at best.
The main artist is the same and never got replaced. And he is also the only artist ever since NN.

Unless he suffered horrific brain injuries, it's not the same artist.
It is, he just made a bunch of lower quality art that was supposed to be used for side content and repeatable scenes. They then used the art as the main assets for a bunch of scenes, and the artist has been sick and / or lazy about doing the better-quality pieces they used to.
So unless Nomo (the artist) has actually left the project and they've hidden that he left, the artist hasn't been switched, just done shittier drawings.

Nomo probably already left Hreinn Games. Idk when was the last time he streamed, but I'm sure its already more than a year, maybe two in a couple of months. He always streamed the new scenes (the last time was the cage scenes) so, we can say he is out.
At the risk of incurring hatred and scorn, does this game no longer receive mac updates (official or compressed)?

Its been a while since I played this game or check on the updates, is this project still getting updated? I remember it being real good.
There might be an update at the end of the month, but who knows. They're still promising to push out quicker updates, something they've already failed to do the first time they said they would.
0.14.2.1 has an official mac link in their free patreon post, so the most recent patch should be on mac. I can't test it tho.

Last release with a non-skech scene, 2022. June 22. 25 months ago. (Ylva's quest).
Last release with multiple full quality art: 2020. March 16. 52 months ago (10.5 second ritual with the shaman)
Last release with _ONLY_ high quality art: 2019. October 1. 58 months ago. (9.3 Sabia drinking, and Avion patch)
So yeah, you are not tripping.
well, lets make that 8 months then between any form of update, because discord points to no update in July as well.
