okay, never mind my previous request, I found a download right here with the full gallery unlocked and even the fan content patch. I'm glad I did, I can safely say the other comments criticizing both the story direction, art quality, and the slow pace of updates were very much correct. Its disappointing, just like the Seed of Chaos game, it started out very promising, with a cool concept that seemed great for an adult and erotic story, and just devolved into another bloated and disconnected series of content updates to milk patreon subs.

Well, technically, they don't own the copyright iirc, so I doubt they'd be able to do anything legally if anyone used the idea and characters.

An artist automatically has all authorial rights over any art they produce, including copyright. They would have legal standing to try to shutdown anyone straight up ripping off their work (this includes using their code, their CGs, and their original characters).

With that said, parody falls under "fair use" in US law, and it would be kind of rich for this dev to want to sue someone over a fangame when the only successful game they have ever completed was a LoL porn fangame. But "technically" they totally could.

There are times I really miss the facepalm reaction. As was already said, copyright is automatic in the USA and most other countries. Trademark and patent are similar, but both require an active effort to get and have different requirements and purposes.

Dev communication seems to only come forth to let us know they're gonna reuse old art again in some side-quest ending/alternative story line instead of even attempting to finish Sabia's main story & that Nomo is somewhere doing something I guess. But they're totally still "working" on it.
