Well that's a shame.
Haven't played since Sabia apparently got hit with the bimbo stick. Good few years. Hope that it isn't too bad, so I can at least appreciate what's left. Probably a LOT of content I have never seen since I played. I haven't built up the same anger a lot of folks here seem to, so maybe i'll even get to enjoy it. Though perhaps I will have that anger by the end.
I don't understand why people find the whole, 'innocent idiot' thing attractive as a character concept. Sabia was a great character. It was entertaining just to see her navigate the world and think. Bimbos are inherently boring. Barely characters. Turning a good character into a dumb idiot with no agency is... such a waste.
Well. Guess I'll find out how bad it is. At least the old stuff remains.

Yeah, I think the content change for different scenes into Dominant and Submissive routes a while back could have been done a bit better (my main dislike is some of the scenes you feel railroaded into on the Submissive path in a way that felt out of character for Sabia). It felt like the re-interpretation of the game into Dominant and Submissive was implemented so that being Submissive meant giving up agency and becoming unable to make your own choices / becoming a doormat for literally anything. Where in my understanding, Submission means consenting to give up control in a situation which is not how much of the Submissive route was implemented.
That being said, this was one of my favorite games. The developers that did not disappear (see the Patreon) have mentioned they are starting a new game in the same fantasy setting but focusing on a different character's story. Not sure on the timeline there, they will be eventually setting up a Patreon specifically for the new game since the original game here's main developer disappeared.
Also, I think some of the complaints about the game came during a time that the main developer was slowly stopping responding to any contact from the other developers on this project before fully ghosting them and disappearing.
I hope the new project gets started and goes well. This game had some of the best writing for a Porn Game I have ever come across, where I would legitimately read every scene the first time I saw it, then in the gallery would continue to replay and re-read my favorites.

in real life, sure, but I wouldn't really declare there be any rules in a fictitious story. non-consensual bdsm is fairly standard and fairly popular in adult stories and porn. Those who aren't into it always complain about it on every comment, but they aren't the audience. The non-consensual submissions in this game was in the story from the beginning, quite literally in the first scene when you get taken down by a orc raid, so clearly that wasn't the problem. The poor implementation of the dom route, or rather just not even doing that route, is what I think most complains are about. That and the game just turned into a directionless clusterfuck with poor art and writing that just milked patreon subscriptions.
ultimately its one of those cases of the game premise being full of potential, and the authors just not being able to fulfill that potential that's the heart of the issue.
More or less, yeah, but early on there used to be a method to the madness.
The best examples are the two bad ends when Sabia tries to join the tribe at the start. If she fails and accepts even being drugged, then it's over and if she is too abrasive, then she just gets taken down and held as a prisoner. The message is the same as it was in the original prologue: Be dominant but not arrogant or be submissive but not a doormat.
Early on the Sub route meant that Sabia made plans and to achieve them she needed allies, status or information and she was ready to get fucked for these.. and often ended up enjoying herself in the process.
But later on, Sub Sabia just walked around aimlessly, hoping that her problem will magically solve itself and the first orc who found her abused her. She didn't even submit to anything, she was just rag dolled and abused.
Now, i'm not an expert on this whole sub-dom culture, most here are way more knowledgeable, but from a narrative standpoint, the best example is the pleasure tents. Sabia spent 3-4 patches to take control of them and then the Sub route just loses control of it instantly, erasing all progress and her only idea is to walk up to a random orc, complain and end up getting fucked for hours and repeat this. The whole scenario was an extended bad-end unless an outside narrative force swept in to save our protagonist.

People think with their dicks and end up supporting slup creators. They've been on the rise since 2023 maybe longer. Then you got those that started out strong but let ego and money get to their heads. That is why I don't support creators anymore bar some exceptions.
Im sorry but I think everyone had enough from 8 years of milking which resulted in something being canned to waiting 2-3 years to have something presentable and another 5-9 years for it to finish. They'll have to show a lot of things for the rest of the year to prove this will be a project that will actually be finished.

This is wrong, the project started to rot and stink since Sierra left, then the era of fast graphics with square men in tents came, which further spoiled the project, but now Nomo is probably dead or gone forever, I don't know who as a new artist, but I became interested in this project thanks to Nomo's drawing, so for many in this topic the project is even dead. The hamsters from patreon have started to understand this

I fucking LOVED Noxian Nights. One of the very VERY few games that stuck with me more than a porn game, so this is VERY disappointing to see. Especially considering I stopped playing the drip feed updates about a year before they halted updates because I just wanted to play it in it's entirety. Fucking RIP.

Yes.
ven before the extremely obvious drop in quality there are dozens of hours of gameplay and 50+ unique, high quality scene. There are a lot of finished games that are smaller than what we have here.
So as long as you are prepared, it can be worth exploring this one.

there's a lot of content, and it's really good in the first part of the game especially
IMO you'll enjoy your time with it, and by the time the drop in quality comes you won't care much that it's abandoned
ok so the other races orcs and elves and all that stuff nearly got wiped out and they still think its a good idea to rape kidnap and kill humans? do they want the humans in this game to hunt all of them down cause that's what's gonna happen if they keep attacking and rapeing humans.
been a wile since i checked in here. could someone please update me with the reason for this abandoned (if there is one at all)

Nomo is AWOL since almost 2 years so Monsinne is "creating" a new game with Amelia as the protagonist and a new artist.
oooh by chance know that name of the game ? if its as good or better than this one i would love to try it. thank you for your time
