No, but iirc during the tense discussion(argument) in the dev's Discord a while back concerning Sierra Lee's departure I think someone mentioned that was one idea SL had for the story.

Yep, the Sub path is a rape-fest. If Sierra was around she could have made the path interesting but the current hacks writing the game have no interest in it as you can tell for yourself from the bored and lazy writing. It's rape, rape, rape. I don't mind some non-con stuff but this is just way too much, and it's completely idiotic in the way it's written. There's no way to save this path, it's terrible and because dumb patrons will riot if it gets cut, the devs will not have the courage to start focusing on the plotlines that might make more sense, streamline the game and push out updates faster

Eh, wasn't it Sierra's idea to have rape at the very beginning of the game? I'm pretty sure there was something about it, that Nomo or someone else argued and removed it to have smooth and slow pacing instead.

Yes, this looks EXACTLY as if they were working at the game exclusively around the deadlines. I finally got around playing and apparently unblocking f95(site isn't blocked, but the parts are, which made it nearly unusable), wanted to agree with you a lot of time ago. Since i do scenarios in different games, with different amounts of coding, i'm sure i can say that this shouldn't take anywhere near to 9 months of work. Without inventing any new code, without having to draw pictures, only taking and inserting them in a very simple way, copy and paste lines at worst... Well. At least this doesn't look malicious, looks more like a student syndrome - leaving everything on the very last moment.
Sure hope they'll stop with that, realizing the consequences of losing such easy work to this kind of weakness, and will start to do updates a bit more consistently.
No idea on who wanted to implement the initial rape scene, but I honestly don't buy that it was only removed for pacing. It was removed right around when patreon started cracking down on certain types of adult content, like bestiality and rape. I don't recall if Hrienn ever got flagged for review specifically, but removing a rape scene from the very beginning of a game is a way to hide that the content is in the game, since I doubt patreon would dig very far into a porn game to search out later scenes' content (kinda obvious since so much rape is in later game scenes.)
honestly i saw the cg scens from 0.10 onwards and honestly, even if its daring from me to to say so without context, most of them are just repetitive and not that good frankly, which is a shame this game could ahve been great but between the great drop in writing and a somewhat lack on quality, im not sure it is worth keep checking up for it, hopefully devs reconsider a lot of things and change their mindset regarding what game they want to make

I don't know whose idea it was to have the rape scene at the beginning of the game, and I don't think we will ever know. But that wasn't my argument, so thanks for ignoring it. My argument is that the sub Sabia path is a moronic fucking rapefest and that it would have never degenerated into this stupidity if Sierra was still the writer. It's just terrible "me fuck Sabia because she wet slut for Orc (Minotaur, whatever) dick" dialogue over and over, with Sabia at first hating being raped then accepting it. It is terrible storytelling because the same shit happens over and over again. Say what you want about Sierra's games, but they aren't this dumb.
I respectfully disagree that the sub path is a rape fest. Except one unavoidable groping here and there, you can dodge most of the sexual assaults, especially the heavy stuff. How disingenuous is to choose Terok, agree with dubious rituals, or pick "Let him/they have his/their way with you" at every possible opportunity and then complain it's a rape fest.
Also, I don't think the writing is that bad. It's at least better than 90% of the stuff on this website.

It's pretty obvious the sub path is about Sabia getting fucked over and/or being too meek to stand up for herself since it makes a good contrast with the dom path. This isn't a case of wanting your cake and eating it too, the sub and dom path are pretty much opposites.

This is fair. I did go down those paths, following the walkthrough. But here is the point. This is an H-game. To say you could avoid almost all scenes by not seeing them means you will miss them. Then what is the point? Good art? I won't see it it. Good writing? I'm sorry, you and me may differ but it doesn't grab my interest at all the way it did when Sabia was acting as a sort of courtesan to the different orc lords. One big change that you brought up was Tekrok, before the change he seemed to think that a submissive Sabia could be useful to him. Now he just basically arranges for gangrape? And acts like a bad parody of a wife-beating crimelord? To cover up for a conversation? It's just colossally stupid planning and makes the character seem dumb. Also he forgot about it the next day which is next-level dumb. It's just bad writing.
Hey, if this is the direction the patreons want to go then fair enough. My point was cut the submissive path entirely. Get the game done quicker and without the cringey writing. If there are no scenes then the sub route offers very little

The whole reason of choosing the sub (Submissive) path is to getting off on other people dominating/humiliating you. It's the very definition of being a S in the BDSM context. The point of avoiding sex scenes is for the case that there is something that you might not like it, for example bestiality. So you can skip it if you want to. But of course, avoiding everything is completely pointless, it just means the sub path is not for you.
So I get it; playing as a submissive slut is not your thing, but there are other people who enjoy it. Actually there is a huge audience for this stuff. For example, there is a game in this website called 'Healslut', which has a path called 'free use' and it's extremely popular.

I think there's a difference between the sub path before Sierra Lee left and the sub path after her influence in the writing was drawn out. I believe a lot of people who are having issue with the latter actually liked the former.
And finding out what exactly is done differently is more of a key here.
Sierra has been out long enough for anyone that liked that brand of the sub path to understand it isn't coming back. It's obvious what you're gonna get now, especially if you do stuff like the ritual or choosing to help Tekrok as a sub. I just hope distractions like the bandits, minotaur, and human scenes are going to be over soon since this game premise is about orcs.
Sierra is an inetersting topic. Just by what i can quickly recall from this thread if she came back to the project we would have:
-Same sized updates every 2 month.
-More focus on dom.
-More focus on sub.
-Finally moved away from the orcs to other regions.
-More content with orcs.
-More scenes with Sabia.
-More scenes with the other girls.
-Less other girls.
-More choices.
-More story progression.
-More story paths.
-More hardcore themes despite regulations.
Each of these things have been said by different people and naturally some of this is absolutely true, but i don't know which ones.
I'm just saying that even the return of Jesus doesn't have this many expectations attached to it.

Yep, she's been out for a long time but there was a way they could have course-corrected. But they haven't and I'll stop complaining about it and playing it from here on out.
While i'm here, i'm still collecting my thoughts on 0.12 and i might wait for a final summary for those missing scenes to get included, but i feel like writing down where i stand now.
Warning: i can change my mind and these are just my opinions anyway, so they don't matter.
This patch somehow managed to give me what i wanted to see based on the promises and at the same time not. Basically everything i can think of comes with a "but" included.
For example, the updated reusable art is juicy and with the tons of scenes included they already showed the advantage of this format: lots of quick scenes to spice up the storyline.
But due to the format of going patch by patch, all of the scenes are currently dumped into a large chunk instead of being spread out in the story...
The story moved forward and this time Sabia got the scenes just like i said she should just before the update.
But every story progression can be summed up as "Sabia got a ledger for Vehlis to read"...
We finally, finally got scenes in the pleasure tents again after 10 patches of waiting and they are sexy.
But on the sub path currently Sabia lost her raiding team and it's appointed leader, her connection to the chosen captain is undermined by the shaman (or you miss out on a lot of good scenes) and now she lost control of the tents too, which basically puts her back to square one as it stands...
They followed up on the collar-scene with the shopkeeper which was a highlight for me when it came out.
But due to the cuts it's currently 3 lines long...

For example in the town when Sabia avoids being discovered by Jasmine by being fucked flat into the bed, that's i think is a fun way to include a scene in the story. Or still on the sub path when Bris gives Sabia a dog bowl to use, and they end the scene by saying that Sabia unceremoniously dumped it's content... but kept the bowl. Those are exaclty the small details that spice a good scene up to great.
But at the same time there is a scene where the tents' guard greets Sabia with "Oh. Hey Sabia. What do you want?". This is an orc greeting his boss. This is a boss greeting a woman he wants to fuck (and did so already). This is an orc and not a well mannered one. If Jadk or Rokgrid greet her like this, then that would be fine, but Tardak?
And finally one thing i would change if it was up to me: make the stamina requirement for the tent scenes in the sub path optional. If you don't have 200, then things go just like now and Bris scores some points. If you have 200, then after the same scene Sabia gets up, asks for a second round or promises something more to the orcs and she wins the round. That way the sub path won't feel just like Sabia is passively waiting for an opportunity, but you can actually do something about it. Even if the result doesn't matter these are flavor scenes anyway and using the sub side to gain advantage is a good flavor.
