Yes, you can decide what path you can go and avoid event lead to ntr. Ntr in game is netori and netorare

Here you are. Also, did you start a new save this update? It's weird because you did trigger the right quest but it didn't teleport you where you needed to be.

Only one character can be stolen from the MC and even then there are ways to save her, prevent the issue all together by just Choosing Lovers, or just not progressing.
The rest of the game is mostly Netori where the MC cucks other men and steals their girls and wives
And
Netorase where the Dark Hero will simply allow his women to be shared but they end up back in his bed regardless

Perfect. Actually you just motivated us to add a new system to basically automatically fix bugs like this. It'll launch with The February update so thank you for reporting the issue. We finally got a good idea on how make sure it doesn't happen again.

If you start doing some of the side content like The Cages, you actually get a lot of help with The Grind. Items help and there's so many so don't horde as they are meant to be used as often as you get them.
But I also did add Choice Rewards a lot this update. You are given ways of getting more EXP, Meso, or a bonus item depending on where you are at. I'm still always keen to make sure players who don't want to grind, don't have too.

What I did, as far as I remember
Setting changes
Fullscreen. Music 70%. Autoclick slow. Spawn rate medium
Playing the story mode, not free mode. Clicked everything in West of Mushroom Town. Got all 3 badges from Ms. Record. I did not equip any badge. Mushroom Town. Clicked Maria's "Busy" like 5 times, because I wanted to see if she'll get pissed off if the player keeps bothering her. Looted chest from left house. Talked to Roger and got sword. Clicked the red mailbox with a heart on it, nothing happened other than it opening. Farmed frogs till level 5, didn't use any stat points, didn't use any skills. Got some double kills when there was two frogs in the same spot. One frog was standing at edge of right map portal. Frog was half transparent, but I killed it and portal didn't trigger.
Kinda afked for 5 minutes as I tried to search this thread to see if I could reset stats later, and how much accuracy I need. Clicked Recollection Room, nothing happened. Tried to go back to West of Mushroom Town, game crashed.
Launched game again, now lvl 3 and standing in front of Roger, he hasn't given me the sword. Clicked Recollection Room, this time Roger showed up to explain it. Then I could go inside. Going to West of Mushroom Town is okay now.
Edit: Got to lvl 5 again and tried going back, game didn't crash. Think it's the Recollection Room not triggering the explanation that bugged it. Or maybe the right portal, since it didn't give the kill 20 frogs quest the first time.

hm. path not found could be that theres some error in the map-files trying to fetch something that the package didnt include, so it tried to fetch it as external file, but theres none and crashed.
need to dig deep into it and figure out what and where. but your description narrow it down so I will look around there.
thx for reporting. and hopefully it will not happen again.
also, theres ability point resets. and in mapleisland u will not need that much accuracy. all the monsters in mapleisland are weak and require little accuracy.

Also, entering Middle of the Forest map brings up stat tutorial, it says Luck increases crit chance and crit dmg. Hovering over the Luck stat in inventory only says "avoidability and thief attack". Searched thread and found one post from 5 years ago saying Luck increased accuracy and damage. So I'm confused. Is the tutorial or stat box outdated?

yeah, it could be outdated. HaseoOfDeath can look into it as he is the one that manage the tutorials.
for u, I would only focus on STR and INT, but mostly STR until u get skills to use with cane/cannon.
so for now its best to use STR + melee weapons.
since we have ability-point resets u can fix the stats when needed. since later in the game u can pick specific job-paths. (and even then, it will not be until season 2 there will be balanced and skills for all the 5 jobs)

I'll double check to make sure it's up to date but I think Luk is the only one we've adapted differently. Thanks though! Hopefully it doesn't crash again
