1) Yeah I get why it was done the way it was. The quests wouldn't make sense if you ddon't complete the pre requisites, but understanding the reason doesn't really make it any less overwhelming. But looks like its on your radar. Hope you can address it however you think you can. IMO i'd just end certain character quests quicker. No reason why so many characters need to continue to get side quests throughout the story. Continue with the newly introduced characters in the new island instead of constantly bringing back older characters for new quests. Start and end the character quest in one or two go. Would address the bloat and the convoluted nature of the quests
2) Yeah worded it wrong, I meant the Job has no rerolls. Not much else to add, looks like you guys are working on it
3) It looks like I need to play more to get the context, but I swear I've heard the "be honest, you wanna be mine" followed by the dark magic thing happen about five times now to five different girls. It just feels like a crutch. But hoping there's less of that in the future then. Also didn't know there was Orihime in this game lol. Any chance of bringing Yoruichi tho? o_O
1. It's a massive game so I basically have to guide every character differently for different days off the Hero might have. It's basically a design choice to make a living world with schedules and free time. It is overwhelming to see, more so to write lmao. But the goal kind of fits. That sheer moment where your favorite character gets new content, you go see and get something very substational after waiting for so long. I make it worth while especially sex scenes since they can often last 30+ pages.

2. Gotcha. Yeah, this is on our radar for Season 2

3. I think you might be around Henesys or Ellinia but I do start having it lean more into the "be honest" part and have the girl lament not doing more when the Hero does come back. Certain girls will even start calling him, following him etc. It gets better as the game goes on because after Henesys, we basically didn't have money for sex scenes. After that, we did so I could fit more around the girls and have it feel more natural.

And yeah, Orihime and Nelliel are in the game. You meet them by going to Rien which you unlock by talking with the penguin in Lith Harbor. For for Yoroichi, we're not adding more crossover characters otherwise the game will never finish lol

1) Well if it works, it works. Just giving you my perspective. It feels like I've already earned some of these scenes, and the stories getting cut short and having to go through so many other quests just get the next part of the quest doesn't feel rewarding. The most rewarding this game felt was when the true corruption/lover routes for everyone got unlocked. But it felt bad when you find "okay its like 1/5th of their routes actually". Im sure if someone is already caught up with the current update, they'd be happy to get new content for their favorite character, but that's because he doesn't have a tidal wave of quests currently in progress.
3) I am going through Elliinia rn. I'll let you know if I change my mind about the corruption routes when I (eventually lol) get to the better bits then.

4) Just saying Rukia and Yoruichi were objectively the best picks for the game. Yes I am writing this as an actual criticism lmao. I also completely forgot about that penguin thing. guess i gotta add a few more quests to the list soon.

Regarding the balance of the game, I think it all depends on getting the initial cane skills and stuff. I was struggling with progress for a bit because I didn't realize those quests made you so much stronger. Getting the aoe and single target attacks made life a lot easier. I think the iron hog is when you recommend doing the cane quest or levelling your strength. And I gotta tell you, strength doesn't help at all lol. Personally would add that warning to other quests that occur during that time. Whether mention you get an aoe for the obnoxious kill 300 monsters quests or the super tough single target quests like the latter wandering princess fights. Also a big personal preference would be increasing the drop rate of shiny weapons and armor. Tried farming bosses for some gear and it just did not work at all lol.

I started playing again a little bit ago, and I noticed that I cant progress the Maggie questline, its showing "The Missing Maggie" as not available, with the prereq quest being... "The Missing Maggie". Is there something I'm forgetting (last time I interacted with her was a good while ago story-wise, I think pre-Ellinia?), is that quest just not done, or did something screw up? it says return to Mushroomtown to find out where she is, but I've scoured what feels like the whole town and haven't found anything. Including a couple screenshots to show her questlog+where I'm at MSQ-wise.

Also, I noticed Rains "Emergency" quest triggered a little early. Looks like it's supposed to start when you go to home base after the wait for hermes starts, but it triggered for me shortly after the magnus fight, when I went to base to grab some items for the Ivana questline I missed.
