Unfortunately, you need to go through 8 or even 10 floors to remove the doll mask-visor since only 1 falls on each floor (Doll ID)

Does anyone know how to open the runic chests or maybe a different way to get spell points? The chests are the only way I've found to get them and I did have a run where I was able to open them but never found out why I was able to do it then versus my other runs where I can't.
You can get magic keys by praying for help at any shrine, at the cost of some rep with that god, which will open runic chests. Just be sure to regularly donate gold so it doesn't lead to the gods hating you.

Finally beat this game today. Ran a melee build with these weapons, the flail for groups and the hammer for single targets.

Now that I finally know how to play effectively I want to post some tips here;
  1. Look for Magic Keys, open Runed Chests. This is how you get perks in the perk tree and advance your class.
  2. Kill as many enemies per floor as possible. When I was sneaking to the exit ASAP on another build I ended up at the first boss with basically no gear. You can farm floors with a "warzone" in the middle for thousands of gold if your build replenishes resources enough to sustain itself (going pure magic wouldn't work unless there's a way to reliably get infinite mana)
  3. I know this is a porn game but don't bother getting a lot of restraints if you want to make it to the end. Accuracy and fizzle chance determine everything and there seems to be no way to really mitigate that with shrine perks.
  4. Speaking of which, pick shrine perks which synergize with each other. I picked a bunch of perks that make you horny when fighting and taking damage, then picked orgasm control so my character wouldn't cum without explicitly pressing the button, then I dealt +100% damage constantly.
If anyone manages to make a build with the petsuit perks that doesn't suck, please let me know.

I tried 'spellspear' build of mine, to put it simply:
Start: Wizard with cold proj spell, and the passive ability that slows down any target that was hit by cold damage.
First 4 levels: Finding a proper spear/any other long-range melee weapon. Gain perks to reduce the inner power cooldown to 6 turns, and amplify it with the passive perk that removes inner power cd's reset when fighting in melee.
Goin' as low on mana consumption as possible to gain at least +10 bottles. Upgrade SP and Mana points.
After that, before the first boss, try to gain fire spells to deal massive amount of damage with cryospells, as well as making 'fog', which can help when you want to escape.

General strat: Using spell to slowdown enemy - finish it off with long-range attacks. In the close range - use the slowness of the enemies that were hit by cold spell to dodge their attacks/escape them.

After the first boss battle:
Start building off-side perks in 'specific' scenarios.

Known to me:
Latex/Slime passive perks: invisibility in the slime/latex; +50 slime damage resist
Latex/Slime active perks: Conjure slime/latex gag;(very efficient when you fight magic enemies - they won't be able to cast spells for some times.)
P.s. - you can find an item which can turn 'broken' enemies into dolls, which can help against the final boss as the distractions.
Generally, Latex/Slime spells and perks are very good for later mid-endgame, since you can slowdown and reduce enemies' effectiveness and moves.
Illusion/camoflauge perks: Invisibility/Upgraded Invisibility. Allows you to escape dislikable scenarios. Upgraded invisilibity has high chance to completely escape most of the battles.

At the start of doll factory it was rather possible to have 70+ mana potions, almost all max'd out SP/Mana/DP/WP, and 10+ potions of every other type.
At this point, you can just spam stronger fireball just to slay most of the enemies, as well as having enough potions to withstand against the pain.

Pet suit is tough nut to crack, while you can rack incredible bonuses with enchased restraints, you can't use any weapons, which is massive effectiveness nerf. It's also really easy to lose all ability to cast magic while in pet suit.

I think you could turn it into a "psychic" build where you cast spells with the perks that let you ignore your restraints at +100% mana cost, but unless you can get a limitless supply of mana potions you'd run out of resources too quickly. It wouldn't work without having completed an entire run first anyway since you're sinking 4 perk points in removing the petsuit's massive penalties no matter what, on top of whatever you're picking to make your (magic) build viable.

So unless there is some benefit to the petsuit I haven't discovered yet (besides counting for 75% of the perk that increases your damage the morebound you are), even with the 4th tier version of the perk that mitigates most of its penalties it's not worth playing with it unless you've beaten the game multiple times and want to flex on the dungeon enemies.

There are, to my knowledge, two weapons that have no accuracy and can therefore be used with the petsuit; the starting mage orb and a drone you can find as a random drop. Both do garbage DPS and don't synergize with anything, so your main damage output comes from "on hit" trigger spells like slime splash and flame blade. All for questionable gain.

Petsuits provide from +30% to >100%(as i remember, might not be correct) bonuses to the specific spells/types of damage.
The petsuits themselves are kinda bad unless you have ability to remove them(tl;dr don't anger the gods that are related to the item)
You can maximize their use with:
Akashic Conflux
One with the slime
*Any other spell that can be used with disabled arms/legs*

But yes, even with that, you have to find the current petsuit that will do the most buffs(like +130% for magic damage, rather than shitty +30% for some wind damage), then have the current spells, and only after all these steps you might gain a benefit from it.
However, even with it, it is not worth it. You lose too much mobility, and without shielding(even with Arcane shield) you won't last long, but enemies are numerous, tend to have immunities, and are fast.

Petsuits might work on warriors/rogues(I don't know what they can do, or if they do anything but Stat bonuses), but i prefer wizard class.

Haven't tried it out but I think one of the new warrior spells is something like "unconvential warfare" I remember it saying you can attach a weapon to yourself, maybe that works with the petsuit

lmk if it does

I don't think the most recent version of the game is on here but once it gets uploaded I'll definitely check that out.

No way to get around that hard 0% accuracy though. The best I could come up with was using those handsfree weapons and "on hit" magic passives.

I don't think the petsuit is viable early on anyway, it's a way to become even more powerful once you've already beaten the game.

So uh, what purpose is there in capturing enemies? I am just beyond the first boss so maybe I'd understand if I went further, but so far they just appear in the collection tab with no way to interact with them whatsoever.

In the latest update (well tbf not sure at what point it was added but probably in 5.1+) allows you to customize them and promote them to servants (didn't try this one out yet)
So instead of a captured sprite they get their own randomized look (that still follows the faction look) but you can still fully change how they look.

The petsuit build is done! It was surprisingly easy. Being in the petsuit gives you an impressive +100% damage bonus, which combined with all the other bonuses I have on gives me nearly triple damage. How viable this build is depends entirely on what kind of petsuit RNG blesses you with, the one in this screenshot gives me an insane +400% mana regen so I can cast all my spells for free.

I want to try and do something with slime next; can you fully encase yourself and still deal good damage?

And now we have to wait for an update here....I don't have spare 10$, all went on Steam sales...

You can play the most up to date version for free .

If you want an advanced save to skip the hassle of grinding through the entire dungeon multiple times, use . Playing a Warrior instead of a Wizard probably screwed me in the long run as I could have had infinite mana regeneration but the build I have now is AFAIK the most extreme you can get with bondage with practically no downsides; Minthara here can't walk or see but it effectively doesn't matter.

It's a real shame this thread is not very active, this game may genuinely be one of the best designed ones on here.

The Dark Souls of eroge, if you will.
