Take the persistent from the old saves and chuck that in before you do the chapter skip, it will keep your gallery but it's better to not keep the save files as there might be shit that changed earlier on and might not work as intended.

It isn't work. the first thing I always did when a game get update was copy saves folder and pass it on new version. most game not need for this because the game is made by standard VN game engine like Renpy or something and their saves game also store in AppData. I can just hit load the game and saves still be there.
If I choose to skip old content and start playing at new update then gallery of old content should be unlocked. it's just common sense. you are right about loading old save may make the game buggy and I can't progress with the game but that what skip function is for right ? if I use it then everything should be unlocked right ? I guess not. with how gallery work right now. I need to play from start every time I play new version. if you have save for every scene then I can just load the save. play the scene to add it to gallery but not everyone has save for every scenes.
Hope it just bug but gallery broken like this for a long time and it still not fix. maybe it isn't a bug but it is a feature.

I have the gallery in the d hotfix but i only played the christmas event in this version. Move persistent in the game/saves directory AND move the one in roaming.

When you go to the witch's house the first time around you'll see the father with a carpet when talking with the witch if you choose the option to Imagine it then you get this scene though it won't have the text like this as this pic is from v0.1
It seems that someone wants to mislead the players. This has been fixed a long time ago!

I'm guessing this game isnt made by people who first language is english? The sentences are very poorly structured which is too bad.. If this game gets big you should consider hiring someone to go over the script and just fix all the poorly worded bits.

Wow. That was a really good job. Playing it all over again really got tedious after the second time.
Update. Closed game and opened again. Replayed 10. Now it works.
Only thing missing now is cowgirl for elf. Selecting it only says "not so fast hunter"
But I got a working save just before that

)Probably not playing this again, honestly. The amount of stupid minigames to get to that small amount of 1-slide H-scenes was not worth it. Especially that shell game. I shan't say more, because I'd probably be banned for how irritated I am at that stupid shell game, and the 6-square shifting picture puzzle.

Agreed. The reward is nowhere near worth the effort currently.
Now everyone wants an easy fap, I miss those games when the fap was just a mere plus into the game and not the object of the game.
I mean, I agree, a good portion of the games I follow here I'd follow without the l00ds, like Lucky Paradox, which is one of the few 3DCGs I like. But, despite my interest in the story, the minigames are at the point they seem a hindrance or a gate, not a feature. It's possible to create a game with minigames that seem fun-- like, and ironically it's another 3DCG one, Treasure of Nadia, where I spent like 4 hours just digging for treasure instead of progressing the l00ds/story. (It's also a type of 3DCG I don't care for, so a lot of times I care more for the story than the porn)
Also, the game seems to showcase the pornographic aspect, if you look at the changelog the first thing it lists is how many scenes there are. But, the scenes are all backended behind hideous minigames. Like that cup game? The heck is with that speed? That's not meant to be fun, that's meant to waste our time.
There we go: Backended. That's another issue here. The pacing is off, compared to other games. They'll have lewds spread throughout the update, whereas they have these significantly out of reach, like a carrot on a stick tied to a treadmill.
I'm all for a heavy sidelining of porn, but this isn't that.
Edit: I just took a look at your own favorite games list. What A Legend, on the other hand, is a great game. Engaging story, the
'grind' (less so much grind than the back-and-forth of the questing) balances with the porn nicely. The characters are great, the humor is wonderful.
So then, come to think of it, the story specifically in this chapter. Here, we've got the strange lovechild of a porn game, The Grinch, and The Chronicles of Narnia (at least for this episode), which has no story developments, as it's all a hypothetical side story, is highly derivative of the two above works. It's "The White Witch That Stole Christmas", essentially, with the same cast given a quick reskin. They didn't even hide Arachne's eyes when they made her a knockoff White Witch. Their characters are worthless to us, because they don't have any connection to what was an overarching storyline.
