I was gonna start this game but the reviews have mentioned that it's full of minigames, barely has any sex scenes and has a bad update pace.

Well, to be perfectly honest, those reviews aren't lying.
But you see, once in a blue moon you come across a game that the dev has clearly been passionate about, they've done all they could to give it a gamified feel. To make the events varied, characters diverse and likeable, and the theme of it artistically beautiful.
That's quite rare, is worth a shot and deserves respect.
That said, when you see a game here, you can't help but hear a Kratos-like voice yelling from the back of your head: "Where is your porn, boy?" A legitimate demand with no meaningful response.
My (unasked-for) opinion is, the dev wanted to make a great game they were truly passionate about, but they weren't fully confident that the game alone could garner enough attention. So they had to sprinkle in occasional sexy time to fill in the gap.
But that makes the game end up somewhere in between instead.
It's still a very decent game IMO, but yes, if you're lured in by tags, you'll probably leave disappointed. At least for now.
Probably one of my top 10 games on the site. Although the fact that the last 2 updates haven't had any additional h-scenes is kind of disappointing. Still, I'd rather have a game update with no h-scenes than not update at all, it shows the dev is still working on it and this dev is clearly passionate about the project.
The thing is... Are they have something planned in hand in the first place?... Since v0.3 i read that initially the priest was fucking the witch and the nuns were in fact more slutty, that thing were changing in further releases for the sake of their patreons and for the story it was showing about every character involved, and that can be seen with the elf girl more than any other character, as you can't save her mother and still if you tell the truth she suicide but if you lie to her then MC fuck her just right there... There's no coherence in that... The game feels like they don't know well what to do, what to offer as main story so until then... Red Herring.
PS. I forget to mention that dev seems to be obsessed in make the MC an asshole or if like the world itself prize being a liar instead of the truth, worst, MC seems to be more respectful if he's dealing with someone more powerful than him but need to lie about his business.

The quote is by Dr. PinkCake. The creator of 'Being a DIK' and 'Acting Lessons'. But to be fair, very very few developers actually do that. Most devs do not have the monetary means or mental fortitude to adhere to this principle.
So the common practice is: throw different stuff at your patrons and see what sticks. And once you've figured out what your paying customers appreciate, do more of that. A lot more.
So realistically, we can't fault a dev for that. If they are constantly changing their game, they are following the 'tried and true' strategy guidebook.
It takes an exceptional dev to have a vision, put their foot down and follow it through to the end. That's extremely rare.

Items obtained during missions will be in your invertory. (elf necklace, ring, etc.) There's an auto battle option in combat, but it's pretty shitty. (I haven't tried it with a magic sword, it does more damage.) For the special fishing rod you have to arm-wrestling with the fisherman, for the deck of cards with the blacksmith.
The 0.16 update was meant to fix the 2 buggy mini-games (the horse catch and the escape). Other than that, not much change. The game still forces players to put all their skill points into defense if they want to fight the 3 enemies and farm.
