I still get an error even with the XP install.

Same problem here. I even tried to replicate the file that was there and googled katakana/hiragana to be able to replicate the text to no avail. "タイトルが見つかりません。" I even tried with and without the fullstop at the end. So if someone that did manage to get it to work, can you tell me how many files are in your Graphics/Titles folder? If only one, than something is wrong for some of us

Turns out, the issue might be with applocale. For the heck of it, I've tried with Locale Emulator instead and it's working now. Try that, lemme know if it works for you too?

There is only one picture...the title screen^^ its named: タイトル
Using Locale Emulator and everything is fine on my end...

I guess some games actually do require it.

Fix:
1- Unzip the files inside the .rar into the game root folder.
2- Replace existing ones.
3- Start the game executable using a Japanese Locale Emulator or Japanese Locale System.

I am having that exact same error message. I too would like to know how to fix it. Redownloading the game and RPGM XP did not fix the issue.

Because the game's system files are still in Japanese. The only things that are translated are the story, items and such, but the base is still in Jap so you need to have AppLocale, Locale Emulator and such!

Like the Visual Novel fan-translated: even with them you need to launch with AppLocale and such, unless someone makes an English launcher.

I will await that day then. Not too much for fucking around with locales and such. Perhaps if someone explains it a bit I might give it a try. Just to explain enough, that it doesn't seem like a hassle.
