I just want a decent guide to get to the gallery house and obtain it. I can't find it and the guides listed in this thread aren't helping. I prefer to play my games and unlock everything myself, the issue is that this game doesn't have any sort of quest journal besides the main quest. I did the herb collecting quest and had to keep my own notes all Morrowind style. I had to open the game in rpm maker just to know how many herbs I needed for one quest. The first time she was just like, I'll make due and I failed the quest.

So where is the house and how to I buy it?

You either dont have the RTP installed, are not in jp locale/not using jp locale emulator or don't have the right game.ini file
The game.ini file can be edited with what is written in this post:

Note that said link only works if u got the game somewhere else, but my guess is that you are trying to run the game without the proper settings.

Tried what exactly?
The game.ini file?
Installing the rpgmaker RTP?
Changing the windows to JP Localle?
If you look at previous posts on this thread most people who had that problem solved it by doing those 3 things.
The game haz no missing files but if you don't have the rpgmaker RTP installed and your computer on japanese locale the game will never run.

As you see the game runs fine for me.
And yes its the exact same game downloaded from page 1.
If you are not using the japanese sytem locale or a japanese locale emulator u will keep getting that error. Thats just how some rpgmaker games are

I figured out how to get a house, go to Post Town Copal, head right and there is a guy in the upper left. He'll sell you a house for 3000.

Here is a save in that house. You can unlock the scenes by standing on them and pressing action. I'm going to collect them manually.

Alt+Enter to go full screen.

Turns out there is a house in most towns. I've purchased six at this point. Just go to the mover station between 6 to 18 and look for a guy with a blue outfit and cap.

Do you have the right RTP installed as well though? (this is not a rpgmaker VX Ace game as you can prob guess due to the Sun symbol in the .exe)
If so maybe your computer doesn't like this specific game.
Like i said there's no missing files, there's only one image supposed to be in the Title folder and say image is there.
I tested the game myself before uploading it for this thread.
Edit:
more people had that problem and doing what it says on that post/page helped

Well outside to the right of the castle.

Edit:

I've translated the map on the fan site and turned it into a SVG. Here is the post;

Please note that I've kept the layout. The map isn't perfect. There are some extra area's on this map and the original didn't have all the links. There is an extra area under Farm Village Saborite. There were a few area's I couldn't access since they're quest related so I just translated the the original maps names.

I'm thinking about translating the quest guide and maybe adding notes to the map.

Edit 2;
Here is a PNG version;

Sorry for the necro but.. What can I do with the black diamond in the castle? Does it effect any of the endings or gameplay?

First off, you need to be infected with Porphyric hemophilia and let that turn into Vampirism. Vampires start showing up around level 20 and only at night time. After you are a vampire, you must avoid sunlight as it constantly damages you. Food no longer fills you. You have to drink blood which involves breaking and entering. The stat boost is minor considering the penalties. Using the map I posted a few posts ago, the location is called "Vampire Nest" and is located Starting from Frontier Village Yujial at the most northern part of the map, South, South, East, East, East, Go up on the hill, West, West. Normally the location is locked, but when you're a vampire it's unlocked.

To cure vampirism, you can find someone in the capital sewers which is another lengthy quest made harder by the need to stay in the dark.

Are there any specific areas you have to go to for vampires to spawn
