Are you sure it's not due to one your waifus? Maybe they have a ton of mods/accessories attached to them? Or just the sheer number of waifus you have in an area?
Am sure, just straight upgraded to the new repack with a save that was fine on R6

New version of better repack sometime have bug due to the interaction of new versions of mods.
Plus it also somtime happen that updating to the next version create bugs. You might want to save your card / savefile and uninstall the game and redo a clean install of the latest version.

Man, I waiting for this cooking up. How good it is? include current best mods. comparsion to Koikatsu
Same Issue, getting a bunch of "Could not load shader" errors on load screen, before crashing. 20 KKUTS, 20 KKUTSitem, and 4 KKUTS alpha.
Get an extractor like WinRAR or 7zip, use that to extract the parts by having them all in the same place and extracting the first, it will do the others automatically. That's all there is to it, then just click the exe with the game name to start the game.

To unlocked all H positions, find the CheatTools in Game menu/ Configuration/ Plugin setting/ CheatTools
Change the hotkey to another one.(Because the original hotkey is "pause", I don't know how to turn it on.)
Use the hotkey to turn the cheat tools on. find the buttom "obtain all H position". That's it!

I only have a few position during free H scene.
I mean the cheat way, not be unlocked by the story mode.

Soooo, I got the game elsewhere cuz dont like download from mega here. more than 10 gb is too much but it is same repack and it playing alright. I would give 4 stars cuz i believe porn probably the same but the theme and save everywhere quailty of life is cool and beside it is only 3D AAA jap anime porn here but why not 5? cuz optimize. Unity C+ literally eat ur CPU unlike Unreal another C something I dont make video game myself

So whenever I try to load in character from regular Koikatsu, I'm missing a bunch of mods for them. Is there an easy way to get all the missing mods for characters, or does that mean they aren't compatible with Sunshine?

You need the same mods on KKS. Sadly mod for KK can't just be copied and pasted in KKS, they need to be modified for KKS, so not all mod have been ported or are up to date on KKS.

Sorry if this is addressed elsewhere, but the amount of content on this is staggering -
I recently downloaded this and though my PC is far from slow, it locks up every time I try to play / edit characters, etc. It'll load up fine initially, but then it just completely stops.
Anything I can do to resolve this?

For playing, reduce the number of girls on map at the same time.
But if it freeze during character creation, you need a more powerful computer. You may want to try removing mods (just a vanilla installation), since the extra mod need more CPU / Memory, but not much else

I have a weird problem with some of my girls. When touching breasts of some girls their breasts shrinks, but other girls have no such problem. I'm pretty sure there is some kind of "option" that cause this but i don't know which one. Any ideas?

Game exe might be shut down by your AV, try adding an exception.
Also, non Japanese computer have problem with Japanese name, so make sure the path to the game exe don't have any non local charater / letter in it.
Also, try forced admin mod when starting directly from the game exe and not the launcher.
