I don't think KK has a good gameplay, I'd rate it 2/10 (for character creation I'd give a 9 or 10). Still, I'm glad to hear it got a 'marked' improvement. Can't wait for R2! =)
I agree, main gameplay of KK is not great. So marked improvement from that isn't a large jump keep in mind. Subject to personal taste if that's enough >.<
I'm not expecting miracles form "new" Studio. Most of good things in game(s) / studio(s) are achievable thanks to modders. However, if Studio would be much better for some reason, I will gladly accept it. But, as you are - I'm not expecting big changes and not expecting anything designed for difeerent "Illusion engines" like AI/HS2.
I do not feeling any pressure to lay my hands on Sunshine, as amount of goods is really sufficient in KK itself, but I must admit, I tested your 1.1 Repack and for me it's just like KK-DLC. I'm not trying to say it's beetter or worse - but more or less same idea with some adaptations.
Well, yeah, at the end of the day, it is KK with more KK, and some extra fun on top... no reason trying to pretend this is a radical departure or anything
Game looks like KK 1, just with more polished backgrounds and environmental props. It's not really piquing my interest atm, so I'll wait for R2, and a bunch of modders to do some work first before coming back. Realistically, KKS should be decently playable by the end of the year.
at this phase, it should be quite worthwhile in a month or two. At this point the main game modding state is where KK was after 6 months... that's 6 months compressed into a week... only reason I expect it to take that long is that... studio doesn't drop before the end of next month -.-
Pretty much the whole backbone of modern illusion modding is standing behind koikatsu, and are working hard to get this game on its feet, I'm far from the only one running around trying to make this as pleasant as can be.
I find the whole situation odd. There is absolutely a market for H games, this site more that proves it. a fair amount of games have 10+ million views with a committed fanbase, No real Marketing.
Its ok to give a "young adult" a game where the whole point is to kill as many people as possible, and sometimes in the most gruesome way possible, but Sex is still Taboo and it doesn't matter how big the audience is.
Onlyfans is a great current example. They almost ruined their business, because they had to cave into the Righteous minority and banks we going to stop doing business with them.
Its going to take a few small company's making big $$ for the stigma to disappear.
I don't think Illusion is that company anymore. Time to start looking local.
There is this little thing called Paypal, visa and mastercard, and they're not the biggest fan of adult content... also some small players you might've heard about once or twice, like steam, facebook and apple, are also kinda afraid of tits and dicks, think it killed their parents in a dark alleyway or something, looking at how afraid they are of it... that makes things real hard to get a project going with a decent budget... and that's before anyone puts objective content in a game that some people may have objections to.
