Yes, one of the single most extensive mods ever developed for Koikatsu, a version is being made for this game as well, though it is nowhere near as developed, of course.
I just hope that if he is going to develop KsPlug he will split it like ManlyMarco does with all his mods.

I doubt he would at this point, more work than it is worth.
for Koikatsu and KPlug it doesn't matter anymore, for me both Koikatsu and KPlug don't exist anymore and I don't think I will play them anymore, but KsPlug has to do it from 0 and it has just started, in fact it has only one release,he has all the time in the world and he can do whatever he wants.

Not sure what you mean by don't exist, if they didn't, Katarsys would be focusing on KSPlug and STN would be focusing more on the Koikstsu Sunshine Better Repack version since there would be no Koikatsu to take focus away. As for the mod for Koikatsu Sunshine, KSPlug, it started back when Koikatsu Sunshine first released and the groundwork has already been laid, which makes things difficult to just split up. Not to mention he doesn't really have a good reason, and thanks to the modding community's response to the original Kplug and KAtarsys's justified unwillingness to switch all his already extensive work over to the BepInEx API, he has reason NOT to since not splitting it makes things harder for any would be copiers trying to rip the functions of KSPlug.

He doesn't share because of how he was treated by the modding community when he refused to change his massive Kplug mod. To be honest, I wouldn't share either if the response to me saying 'no, my mod is too big to be rewritten from the beginning with a different API' was to be completely exiled and any support for compatibility with my mod was intentionally ignored.

KSPlug is not made by Marco, it is made by Katarsys, the very same modder that made Kplug. KSPlug is fine as it is, with all the functions in one mod, it's actually A LOT more convenient and there is less of a chance any of the functions will have compatibility issues because they are all in the same mod.

As for that FPS drop, thank Illusion because ALL Illusion games use RAM to drive the graphics. The more girls you add, the more RAM you will need. For 24GB of DDR4 RAM, I have found that 8 girls in high poly models (that's during H scenes or using the Force High Poly mod) and 38 girls in low poly models (that's while just walking without the Force High Poly mod) is the maximum without losing too many frames in Koikatsu, but maybe Illusion got people who know how to optimize Koikatsu Sunshine better so that each girl uses less RAM and we can have more in one place with their high poly models when KSPlug eventually adds the invite function. I currently run 4 girls on the entire island, though my current save is only a test of what Koikatsu Sunshine can do so that I know how everything works when I eventually do a maximum girl save.

Mods that are too big are always a bad idea, because one thing that doesn't work is enough to throw it all away, so if you care about your followers, at least divide it .
for drops in fps, illusion has nothing to do with it, the game simply wasn't designed for that, it's up to the modders who made the mod to find a solution (like years ago with skyrim, since it didn't read the animations well, FNIS was created to read 12000 of them).

Not really, mods that have all the functions they are made for in one mod are actually extremely convenient to maintain because you don't have to coordinate compatibility between two different mods from two different modders or check both for issues when there is a problem, it is all in one convenient place. When something doesn't work, you don't throw the whole mod away, you fix the problem, which is a nightmare between two different modders, especially when the modding community has already refuses to maintain compatibility.

Illusion has everything to do with the FPS issues, those are all because the game uses RAM almost exclusively. The more characters being rendered at the same time in high poly, the more RAM it takes to keep the frames high (it takes up to 32GB to run a save with the full character limit without forcing the high poly models, it takes up to or more than 64GB of RAM to run a save with the full character limit that is forcing the high poly models, and both of those are without the mods that give more slots for girls, which adds even more RAM needed). You said it yourself, the game wasn't designed for it, which is Illusion's fault. If the game isn't designed for something, that is simply not fixable, mods inherently have the potential for issues and can only go so far beyond the capabilities of the game.

the game wasn't made for girls to walk around in high poly so it's different, in high poly it requires more because that's simply why the game wasn't made.it's the forcehighpoly mod that does this if it wasn't there since the game wasn't programmed for this there's no problem not using it, and the mods, all of them, increase the spec of the game, if you use the original game with original stuff there are no problems even putting the maximum of girls.I have never had the slightest problem with the original game made by Illusion using only original and not modded stuff. do not confuse the original game with mods. but that Illusion uses too much ram for its games is true, it doesn't know how to do things well. it has always had this problem, that's why a lot of people prefer the old versions, because the game looks a lot like the first version people choose the one with the lowest specs.

You need to download 7-Zip, would highly recommend it as your one and only tool for extracting zip files.

Illusion not optimizing RAM usage well is really a symptom of a bigger problem, Japanese culture looks down on porn developers, so porn developers only stay around one company long enough so that they have the job experience to go to a non-porn developer. This leads to Illusion having new people who may not know what they are doing for nearly every game.

We don't know how Illusion employees are treated, but what we do know is there is a cultural stigma so bad around porn games that developers of them sometimes even keep it secret from their own family and only come out as being a game developer when it isn't a porn game they are developing, usually once they get to one of the big companies like Nintendo. Kiss just happens to get the more talented people out of colleges, their quality doesn't say much about the turnover rate. Also, look at how Illusion did before they switched to Unity, AA2 is still the reigning king of Illusion games and beats any Kiss game by a significant margin even today in terms of gameplay.

Custom Maid is practically a scene viewer compared to AA2, it has the same type of gameplay Illusion put in Honey Select, which is 1. set the room, 2. set who is in the scene, 3. play the scene.

In custom maid you have to manage a bar (if I remember correctly, since it's been a long time) with lots of girls that you decide what work to do.
