last year I checked this game and the older version (first game) and there was so much content, yet only in terms of cards. I was wondering if there are mods already that add lots of sex positions and animations like sims games. otherwise I don't see a reason to check this game out :/

If you download the mod pack, your notebook will not play. My settings are 7800x3d, 32 GB RAM, and RTX 4070 Super. I can't play the game with maximum graphics. At maximum, I can play with 8 girls and it still crashes randomly.

Sunshine is like summer vacation. Party is a DLC for the normal Koikatsu. I play Party because I'm too lazy to download Sunshine. (I heard there are a lot more mods)

I'm on a laptop with a 3060d (6gb) and can run the game fine? cpu is an 11th gen i7 11800H. and only 16gb ram My monitors only 2k tho (misclicked and posted early) I dont suggest having more then a couple girls per save run, but you can just swap any characters appearance whenever without losing progress with that girl. The Game itself tho I was running 8-10 girls in a save with everything cranked up. If you havent check its settings on your GPU controller and turn off or down some settings/cap frames maybe tweak the ini if needed. These animations werent made with lots of frames so capping at 60 or 90 is fine. I found character cards with A LOT of physics based items like hair pieces cause the worst performance issues, but cards with normal hair run fine. I dont think I've ever crashed with KKS not since BR10, I did notice temps jump higher than before with BR12. Other potential issues could be mod conflicts. for Nvidia dont use GeForce experience optimizations, just use the Nvidia control panel.

theres a pretty decent number of positions, you have to "progress" with the girl to unlock them. The more you do things, the more positions the girl unlocks. To skip I think you can download a complete save? and just swap character appearances as you need/want to. I only use the game to test cards for bugs or weird clipping anymore.

1. Get two girls (or waifus) H levels into experienced status
2. Have both in the same room and initiate H with them
3. when you see an +female icon saying "i can feel someone's stare". Click on it and select OK. This can also be done with a talisman if you don't mind having sex with her copy

Hmm, i wanna update from BR11 to BR12. Is there something i need to do like backup
plugin, character cards, scence data or mods? Will the upgrade affect them? Or even add old mods that i'd already removed from BR11?

Can anyone help me understand why I keep getting a Lot of "could not load shader: xumi/etc" if I already downloades the folder with all the shaders and placed it in mods? Should I put it elsewhere?

It can be temperamental if you just put it in the my mods folder. Make sure you have the KKS version and try putting it in the material editor folder with the other shaders.

Are you using the original KK or KKS? If it's KKS you have the wrong version in the folder. Either way, if you get the error you can try and use shader swapper to set everything to vanilla+ and resave the card. The files on the github are source files for making a zipmod, not something you add to the game.

It's KKS, I just saved everything into a folder called Koikatsu because it's where I had the old one and let the game change everything to kks cards. I'm sorry, should I do that for every card? I have around 50 in use. It's in the character maker screen?

Then you have the wrong shader zipmod. Xukmi made two mods, one for KK and one for KKS. And as far as I know they aren't interchangeable.

You have "[xukmi][KK] Vanilla Plus v1.3.1" but you need "[xukmi][KKS] Vanilla Plus v1.3.1". If the card already uses the V+ shaders then it should be fine. You would only need to use shader swapper if you want to make a card us them on your own. You could also just do it manually, I suppose, if you are more patient than me. Shader swapper is a plugin.
