Somebody know a fix to the game just...not opening at all?
Whenever i run the executable both with and without admin it loads for a second and then...nothing at all (if i open the game repeatedly fast enough i do get a "instance is already running" popup, but i have less than a second to open the game again to get it to appear, otherwise again nothing)
i re-extracted the Repack11 files from the RAR downloaded via the GoFile link and still nothing, not even CharaStudio wants to open.

Maybe try to launch from a different exe.
From launcher or KKManager.

If nothing else: try to download from a different mirror, while adding the archive and the folder in exceptions for your antivirus.

Guys, I downloaded Koikatsu Party, one by one, but it turns out that part 1, which is the main one, when I go to extract it, the file appears corrupted, what do I do now?

not sure what you mean by another launcher; GoFile download only has the exe for KKsunshine, exe for CharaStudio, exe for InitSetting, and i found KKManager which also doesn't work at all (not even a popup if i repeat open too fast), so all 4 of options don't work.

i'll try to download from another mirror and see if that works better.

EDIT: a full restart of my PC and telling my antivirus to stfu and leave several programs alone that were not an issue before fixed my issues, game now boots up as it should.

In most cases, you can use drag and drop plugin to load sunshine cards into basic koikatsu. This plugin should be included in both betterepack and hf patch.
Open your game in windowed mode, then open Chara Maker, and drag the Chara card file from a folder into the Chara Maker window.

Why does this game run so badly? I just got it and only have a few character cards. What is this mess?

Some cards with a lot of modded stuff in them can be really resource heavy. Also this game is badly optimized and very ram hungry, you'll need at least 16 rams and an ssd for it to run smoothly with 20 of the default characters showing during the day.
