Made my first waifu.

I want some recomendations. I started the gamed and refrained from adding mods. I have a couple of questions.

• how does the game deal with cartoon proportions. I want to make cartoon characters. ( bigger heads, and around 6 and below heads height) I noticed in the sex scene, her ass was clipping with the default guy's ass. can the animations be adjusted? or can you adjust something in the configuration?
• what should I add to improve the rendered images?
• any commendations about things I should look for. I want to polish this character and may consider things like similar haircuts, outfits and stuff like that.
• how do you make transparent fabrics? I could not get them to work.
• Is it possible to make an MMD like dance to test the character I want to see it moving from diferent angles.
• are there things that give a cyberpunk flavor. (cyberarms etc?)

I'm wondering if someone can help me out here, I'm really struggling to understand the map light settings in charastudio. In this example, I want characters and items to cast shadow on the map (Hotel Lobby), but the base light that map comes with casts an extremely low quality shadow (arm shadow on the table), which can only be turned off by switching off "Self-Shadowing" in the scene settings, which turns off all shadows, which I don't want.

I can control how other shadows look by using a map light (arm shadows on the planter), but I can't do anything to control the default map lights.

Am I misunderstanding something?

Using Koikatsu Sunshine BR 12

It's the shitty shadow resolutions for the premade maps. I was having issues with it but if you add this plugin to BepInEx\plugins you can fix it. I'm still having a hard time tracking down the hair shadow fix though.

Amazing, thank you so much. I knew there must have been something amongst all the mods in BR and HFPatch, but somehow this one isn't included. Should be a must-have.

I do have the same issue with the hair shadow too, unfortunately I've not seen any solution. Wish I could help.

there is a full save on the repack you just have to put it there and it will unlock all positions. the normal way is to play the game to unlock them yes.

Is there a thread or a place dedicated to sharing creations and getting help with creations. I am new to making characters and I want to get tips. but most tips are about runnign the game, mechanics or posing, while I want more tips on handling body curves, creating pleasing breasts and asses, or interesting faces.

So, what are you asking? You want tips to create a subjectively attractive character? It's an impossibility. It sounds like what you are looking for can only be done while using the character creator yourself. There is no "one size fits all" for something like that.

no more like, things like, hmm hard to explain since i am new to the game. for example

I wanted to make a thick motherly girl and wanted to give her belly fat but so far all the sliders I have fiddled focus on upper fat than lover gut fat.

where characters have big heads and bodies around 6 head high or lower. but I noticed this brings complications to some of the sex animations. for example I had one scene with the ass clipping in the guy's crotch, while another one there was no penetration at all. considering i have seen koikatsu lolicon stuff produced I figure it is something that can be worked on. so I wonder if i have to adjust the male or if i should have some sliders into consideration.

same with faces, I remember I wanted to give the character a smaller forehead but I could not find a way to do it and gave up. or how I wanted to work with transparency.

in the end all those things are more related to character creation than game usage. I am basically looking for something like the previously link fan art thread but for general koikatsu.

I do not mind doing this here, but i feel character creation stuff is kind of off topic for this thread that is more focused on the release of the game and how to get the game working.

So I recently tried downloading some cards to use in CharaStudio but I'm having some weird issues.

These are the cards and I've downloaded all the mods I thought I needed to but it seems like either I'm missing some texture or shader mod because the coloring is off. Anybody know what I might be missing here?

Camera issues in Kokaitsu 1 version 5.1 and KPlug 3.4. I disabled all the plugins mentioned in the KPlug Manual. The problem isn't exclusive to story mode, but also occurs in Free H mode. Men keep losing their heads in some positions. Women look too large, and the camera won't rotate or low angle.

Edit:I found the problem but not the solution, it's the camera configuration in FPV in KPlug, if I deactivate it it looks very far away but it looks fine.

I am having a problem with accessory hair and clothes not showing the list of objects to be attached. for some reason i select them on the menu but nothing happens. anyone knows what may cause this? I wanted to make the hair using accesories but i cant because of that.

Dumb question. I've encountered two types of facial animation in scenes, one works with all cards and the other will leave character's faces stiff (like Evaan latest cards). Why does this happen? Can it be fixed?

I keep getting these errors despite having KKUTS downloaded and put into the mods folder, any ideas?



Also I'm running into a weird issue where it says that some zipmods aren't downloaded, like for example Ashura's Clothing Bundle or anse high waist skirt 2023, so I go to download them and add them, only to find out that they're already in the Sideloader Modpack folder under that creators name, why is that?

as a fellow beginner, I simply checked the optional plugins and mods that the game brings googled them online and used the ones that I found interesting.

then there is the optional modpack that brings a lot of models and extra stuff. that is good enough for begining.

That is the main game and a core studio. The optional sideloader is a collection of mods for studio. If you aren't going to be making your own scenes/VN then you don't need it. The HF patch would likely just overwrite whatever is there in the repack so it's pretty pointless.

Yes I would recommend the torrent and join the discord that is shown there. is a non iteractive discord only for updates. for all illusion games. you get that repack then the sideloader that carries more models and maps and extra stuff.

I am trying to get some lights on the character but only the global effects seem to be affecting it. or the shadows show in a very subtle way. what settings should I be paying attention to to make light work on the character?
