It'd take time to translate the game, i don't think it's going to be the full release this year. His previous beta version included only one short mission...

IIRC the demo did have an english version option so it might be AI translation available on release, with "proper" translation done by the brave men and women of F95...
That said, from some of the screens looked like the important stuff can be navigated through image context.

Both versions I played are either in engRlish or Japanese lol, and all dialogues, titles, marks... are completely in jap

Before Sol Rui mini, he was posting about his work on Botan 2 for some time.

one of the posts. I figured he was just taking a break with Sol Rui and going back to it after. I think he possibly started work on Botan 2 since before 2020? But I can't pin that one down.

Botan 2 has been in development for quite some time. We can see the evolution from the very early demo to now from all the blogposts on ci-en. He's taken breaks from Botan 2 to work on Sol-Rui.
That said, what I think the most recent post translates to more accurately is that he is starting to work on the internals, not the visuals as he has been. Man is obsessive over his details and what he wants to include which I appreciate.
Honestly, I wouldn't check back until around summertime. This is a slow burn that will pay off when he finally drops the game.
