It appears that progress on the sequel is slow, but the most recent progress post from the developer was end of May so I think he's still chugging along, although he appears to be also putting some time into updating one of his other games.

I am watching the developer and I can say with confidence that at the end of this year or in the 2nd month of next year, most likely the game will already be on sale

Yeah i know, i dont think he gives a % on how far done he is with it though and that's why i wish it's not that long anymore.
