I do have hope in the dev but I think he could still use quite a bit of help. Agnietta was built on an engine meant for people with 0 coding or programming knowledge (according to his Steam page), and we all know how it was equal magnificent and disastrous; and now we're at a vastly different engine and a vastly different genre so I understand if development feels rather worryingI'm still subscribed to the channel till the end of the month but can't say my support will be ongoing.
Yes, I'm aware this is the first public showing of the game's development and things will no doubt improve with time. However, with that said, I'm a little worried, what with the change in game genre, the dev doesn't have it in him to bring Vitalis to the same level as Agnietta, especially where combat is concerned. Here's to hoping it's all awesome in the end.
I had zero problems playing the game. And everyone else in the thread hyped due to enjoying the first game also seemingly had no (or few) problems; sounds like a you issue.Well good luck than, their previous title is abandoned as a full release thats unplayable yet still purchasable on steam.
On that all i have to say is that you obviously never bothered to read up the articles on "Agientta" as it works perfectly fine. Defend them some more, steam forums are still full of constant posts about people having issues with the game. Its cause of people like you that are always defending and excusing crap that we got gaming to the point where day 1 games barely work, and in many cases get abandoned before anything is fixed. They release a product with the intention to sell it, so they should take responsibility for it. But since nowadays the gaming communities are destroyed from withing by casuals that excuses every crappy game the devs dont need to own up to anything anymore and think they can get away with it.On that all i have to say is that you obviously never bothered to read up the articles on "Agientta" as it works perfectly fine. it may be a little slow to launch but it's 100% playable
Both can be true. I've had all the relevant c++ distributables already installed from ages ago thanks to fitgirl repacks so I had no issues starting and playing agnietta.Defend them some more, steam forums are still full of constant posts about people having issues with the game. Have those does not help i still have the bug that many where mentioning from early days on steam release, where you get stuck during one story part cause something you should be able to interact with, and you need to interact with has no prompt and nothing to do helps. Restarted from beginning 10 times and thats 10 times wasted on this crappy game. Both can be true. Tech literacy is shockingly low among average people. Basic reading comprehension is shockingly low too.
But to be fair to them, trying to become tech literate can also be just as hard (i fucking hate github sometimes lol) so I can understand people being initially put off. However a lot of these people also don't even want to try and find anything out.
Come to think of it, out of all the issues Agnietta has I don't remember people talking about any particular part of the story bugging out cuz it's more like either your PC can run the game smoothly or not at allHave those does not help i still have the bug that many where mentioning from early days on steam release, where you get stuck during one story part cause something you should be able to interact with, and you need to interact with has no prompt and nothing to do helps. Sorry dont remember, since i did not play this for almost a year now, ive stopped even care to try if it works again after getting stuck several times, putting 4.5 hours in it based on steam and no new patches being released after 21st May last year, my last playtime was on 23rd May. Also im used to playing Japanese games so i know almost every solution out there that works each time when other games have some issues. The only thing i remember is that i was pissed off cause they supposedly fixed this bug in one of the patches and it still was not working and a bug report with screenshots did do nothing, no reply nor new patches fixing it.Come to think of it, out of all the issues Agnietta has I don't remember people talking about any particular part of the story bugging out cuz it's more like either your PC can run the game smoothly or not at all
Do you still remember what that story part is?
i definatly remember a bug that blacked out the screen upon loading your save that wouldnt fix itself unless you changed rooms. thats the worst issue iv seen with the game, and i dont think they ever fixed it so something like that could ruin a playthrough.Sorry dont remember, since i did not play this for almost a year now, ive stopped even care to try if it works again after getting stuck several times, putting 4.5 hours in it based on steam and no new patches being released after 21st May last year, my last playtime was on 23rd May.
