No but once you research like serums then you can make them.
Those are hold over from the first game and there not that good when you can make better ones.
Take a look at one and you will see they have rivals that is causing this.
Getting rid of all the rivals form the girls you want to keep and you should be good.
Yes its a pain in the ass but if you want them happy then this is what you need to do.
You did not download the AIO version but the main version without mods.

Several plotline characters have different requirements for breaking their taboos. For instance, your family requires you to complete "taboo quests" in order to permanently break the taboo. Other characters like Ophelia, Ashley, Emily, and others require specific actions - such as waiting some amount of time or doing a specific action.
The game will typically tell you what's needed to break a taboo. If all else fails, just keep progressing and they should break organically.
There's three (3) ways to complete this quest that all require making 10 of the same serum:
- Give her a serum that boosts happiness and sluttiness (best result)
- Give her a serum that only boosts happiness (quickest)
- Giver her a serum that only boosts sluttiness (only completes if you give her an orgasm)
The game tracks an employee's happiness separately from the score you see in the UI. There are six (6) things that affect the
job_happiness_score:- Their overall happiness - only gives boost when above 120
- Their overall obedience - only gives a boost when above 130
- Their salary - only gives a boost if their salary is higher than the base salary according to their skills
- Their opinion on working
- Their opinion on a specific role - only gives a boost if working a role they like/love
- Their employment duration - stops giving a boost after 14 days (no negative consequence afterwards)

Green hexagons are a new addition and indicate that you've completed their questline.
As for the missing person, it appears that you haven't unlocked Candace yet. She's part of Ophelia's questline and becomes available for hire after talking with her in the mall a few times.
