Quick question: I seem to have a permanent stack of status updates on the right side of my screen (Sis: +1 Heart, etc.), and I have no clue how to get rid of them. At this point, they clog up so much, it's a bitch to see through, and I don't know how to remove them.

It is because of some bad behviors when I type the names- -|||

You will have to redo everything once you update the game. You can use mine, this will add to the list and remove duplicates.. didnt error out, but then, i just added a couple of names

I didnt do the male list because they are enough from the base list, but it should be easy to tweak

I´d stick with the v0.37. The later version just have to many bugs in it. Even though they are both broken in the story/quest department.

For future reference, the error message actually tells you the line number that is causing the error. Simply open the file and go to the reported line number to review the text and, hopefully, find the cause of the error. Obviously the software you use to edit Ren'py files would need to be able to display line numbers, for example in Notepad++ you would go to "Settings -> Preferences - > Margins/Border/Edge" and enable Line Number Display on the far right.

In case anyone does want to use Notepad++ to edit Ren'py files but has found that it does not display Styling/Formatting correctly, that's because Notepadd++ does not, by default, detect .rpy as a "python" file. Fortunately that's easily fixed:
Go to "Settings -> Style Configurator", in the Language selection menu scroll down and select "Python", below it you will see a text box for "User ext.". Enter "rpy" (without quotation) into this box and Notepad++ will now detect .rpy files as python scripts.

As far as I recall there are no other city officials for you to meet. Not sure if there are plans to add any more, but for now it's just Christine Lavardin (Police Chief) and Penelope (City Administrator).

I think the other one is the mom's boss, you have to help him fuck her. I never did that myself since I hired her before that, my info comes from what I read in the thread.

well shit. i seem to have gotten myself in some sort of limbo in the mom's story line, she didn't get the promotion but i can't recruit her for my own company either. starting over is such a pain that i don't really want to do it

There was some discussion about personal secretary. Does this mean that there's a difference in the dialogue if you convince her to sleep with her boss before hiring her yourself?
Up till now I've just been hiring her on the first few days, and not much happens after that.
