I really don't like the new models. They look far too generic, and the 'example' characters are a complete and utter turn-off. Furthermore, while this is supposed to be a 'tech demo', the UI really should have been finished, or at least designed, before doing any level of release for the game.
I'm ambivalent toward the casper MC thing, but if that's going to be done again, the writing for the descriptions during sex needs to be far better than what it was in LR1.
I'll keep an eye on things, but I think I'll wait till a few releases in before considering downloading again, just to see how it shapes as time goes on.

holy crap I didn't know the first one is done. I really like the series, but like everyone else has said, it would be really nice if we can see an actual male this time as our character.

Totally agree on the pluses,
On the minuses, I would have to disagree.
First of all, if you "break" someone, you expect them to have their humanity stripped, that's the whole point.
Second of all, Timed games are to add the feeling of urgency, so it feels like a game instead of "look, more porn! Oh Boy!"
And Third, I'm quite annoyed when I'm going through and there's some dialogue like, "Oh man I never imagined I'd be here." Because, realistically, when I am horny, I just get into it and think about all of that stuff later.

I was really like the Lab Rats... but when i download this... the model.... NOOOOO!!!!!!!
For a tech Demo he seems to have missed a large opportunity to test the mechanics by having the one girl show up in all the locations only having the backgrounds won't expose any bugs the model may create being there. especially if the models will be skipping around on the screen for effects and changes of clothes/accessories etc.
the model is a toss in place holder probably why she has one larger boob than the other likely just grabbed whatever random model and tossed it in to test with
Models are a bit meh, but that's expected from a tech demo. But I really hope there's some better way for doing navigation in a Ren'py game, all this "go somewhere, go there, go somewhere, go outside, go somewhere, go home, go somewhere, go bedroom, do something, sleep", what the hell's with that.
I'll see the 0.1 version for sure, but I doubt any more if this tediousness keeps up...

This was one of my first games to play( the first one), and i always love the characters and the girls, but the lacking of animation really makes the playing kinda of tedious....But will continue on playing, Thank you Vren for the ggod artwork and plot. Best regards.

I really hope the Daz models are just place holders, because they aren't sexy at all... either in proportions or face, they're really bad.
But the dev seems to be really active and working on the game, so there is hope to have something more akin to the beauties of "Big Brother" instead of their ugly ass neighbors!

Yeah I'm kind of back and forth on that. I don't know if I really want to see them back if they're going to be Dazzified. :/
If they don't come back though, that's literally the only continuity between the games other than the serum concept, so I dunno.

I understand the need to keep "content" coming to keep those patrons happy but as it stands this is a whole lot of nothing. Not sure you can call it a tech demo when its just the same old same old. Honestly after enjoying the original game (although slightly puzzled that two of the preggos dont get baby bumps) this "demo" has left a sour taste in my mouth.

I'm not a fan of the new models but I wasn't fond of the older models either. The gameplay is fun but the game severely needs better art and some real sex cg going on instead of just poses.

Does the dev read this thread? If so, I hope he doesn't get discouraged by this feedback. I think the idea of procedurally generated characters is interesting. I don't find the models that off-putting, in fact I kind of like the idea that I'll encounter girls with awkward proportions or non-pretty faces. I don't know how the body models are done but there probably has to be more sophistication in their rules constraints, or they need to be manually altered to be more pleasing. Same with the clothing. Frankly I like it, and I don't know how else I'll find callipygian or other atypical body type models to dress up.
I toyed with the idea of doing something like this in 2D, essentially cutting up hand-drawn PNGs that are drawn to a specific skeleton, making them "paper dolls" and generating different poses and outfits for them. It's difficult, conceptually.
This is a tech demo, not a game version (even a 0.1) so complaints about missing things--sex scenes or animation, etc. are misplaced.
The only piece of negative feedback I'd offer is that the clunky navigation really gets in the way of "evaluating" anything. It needs to be fixed right away. Hopefully, some sort of map/hot area navigation like Summertime Saga for moving around the world, the actions available in an area in a single menu (not behind a "Do Something" option), and click-on sprites to interact.
