The game is actually pretty fun lol (or maybe i just like minesweeper in general) but i do have a few gripes with this game.
Just a few notes to your issues that you may find helpful:
1. All usable items can be moved without using onto a different tile, it is only chests and shop that can't, just saying, but maybe even as much you find annoying enough.
2. Chests and Mimics are not RNG, there is actually a slight visual difference between the two to tell them apart before opening.
3. While the foundation is based off Minesweeper, the core gameplay by design involves both minesweeping and fighting. Minesweeper-based "recon" and fighting with revealed exposed targets on your terms (as you get bonus speed and they don't get ambush bonus) to progress. That is just how this game works.
4. Pretty sure that auto-clearing of empty tiles is not a thing, because every single action increases the pink bar on the left side. So players are always in decent control of it, rather than suddenly being surprised with 10+ progress because a lump of empty tiles just got revealed in their single click.
