It all depends on if the developer manages to recover from his illness and if he still has the passion for it. We can't do anything but offer support and wishes for his recovery.

The project is likely a development hell, the artistic direction is 10/10, but his dev management is likely very poor

The main question is : Does it work or not?
It's a locale thing. The folder/files names are messed up because they were originally in Japanese.
