me when i find an 11/10 game only to see its just not abandoned enough to have hope

why are all the good games always abandoned. WHY WHY WHY.
This game had potential but sad it got abandoned before the developer could add a 3 enemy. I would've definitely hoped for boss battles and make more reason to level grind before moving floors.

It's so sad it got abandoned. This game showed so much potential with it's characters and scenery
Spurred to check Asimofu's twitter by this thread getting new posts, and there's two new ones. Both on New Year's Eve.
Post 1: "もう今年が終わるのか…" DeepL TL: "I can't believe this year is already over..."
Post 2: "来年入ってすぐ動きを見せたい…いい加減に" DeepL TL: "I want to come in next year and make a move right away... enough said."
I'm doubtful this means what I want it to mean, especially with translating from Japanese still being less than a fine art, but you never know, right?

Seriously though there might be more someday, the abandoned tag just gets added after a game hasn't been updated after X amount of time automatically.
For translations from japanese, I recommend this site here, which allows for a number of synonyms and other meanings for each individual word and it also identifies the logical function within a sentence (like noun, verb, participle, etc).

My assumption after reading this is that ,,showing presence" is meant for the platform where he posted this very sentence: on twitter. So even if he posts stuff, it is questionable if that will even mention the game at all. Nevertheless, hearing more from him would be awesome

I am having trouble getting this game working on Linux (Mint) with the cheat. I want to play it without censorship. Also, I hope the dev is ok. We miss you!!!
I've looked into the development, and it's not really abandoned as the developer himself is just dealing with health issues/Mouring. id say this game is just on pause/hold until the developer feels better

So is this actually abandoned? Did the developer not say anything about the game on his twitter?
Nah all the stuff still exists I believe, the dev got really sick and some other shizz happened with his family which stopped development and hasn't touched it for like a year (will be 2 this august)
Viewed his twitter when I checked the thread a few posts ago (didn't say anything about it when I did). No new posts about anything, but he has retweeted some Echidna Wars art. "creating Labyrinth of Estras" or however it's phrased is still in bio, so I suspect he would've removed that by now if he wasn't anymore, considering he seems to be vaguely active there.
Ci-en and Pixiv dead as per usual.
Conclusion: The odds are never 0%, but they're still highly unlikely. Don't expect anything to happen until something DOES happen.
