It will likely get a class action that goes to the Supreme Court. First off people have look alikes, like Identical twins but with people who are unrelated. You only have so many "rights" over your own face. As long as the "look alike" in the story is a different person from the real person it should be covered under free speech.

Secondly political cartoons have used people's real images for literally centuries. If they try and use the law this way then it interferes with free speech.

They will likely only be able to use a law to stop material that directly uses deepfake material to slander, Lible, and invasion of privacy.

But there is no Angelina Jolie in my game. My model doesn't have a little hump on nose, a completely different body, etc. The character has a different name, the character has a different bio.

My model LOOKS LIKE Angelina Jolie, not many people would argue with that. You could say I was inspired by Jolie's image from the early 2000's.
