Only issue is that the elf is referred to as both he and she depending on who is talking about the character, probably a fragment of the native language. Either way it adds ambiguity.

Is it actually possible to unlock the Savanah?(I know it's early access but I didn't even manage to find the maid scene from the preview images) Edit: when people ask the development chart gets posted so I assume that's a no.

The elf dude(he's a trap not trans) says that they've heard rumors of someone strong there but the area doesn't unlock, I went 60 levels deep into the misty forest hoping there'd be a path but the 30 levels after the first 30 are identical just more higher stat versions of the same enemies. The maid is still telling me that I should recruit the elf, and after clearing the misty forest so many times I managed to gather a lot of gifts and got the elf to level 1 affection but nothing changed.(Aside from the h-scene unlock)

The gameplay is fun/responsive but every level is just like the last, and every time you leave the dungeon you lose your fun upgrades, overtime you can build up stats but honestly I'd rather get a choice like take a stat penalty and get the fun upgrades from the start, I'd choose the fun upgrades over higher stats every time. Atleast the fountain you unlock for the base can give you stuff like scattershot/piercing attack(don't know what this game calls them) if you get lucky with the rng, from the moment you enter the dungeons even if it also only lasts until you leave(it's a super expensive lottery that can give you one random bonus prior to any run).

Edit: The ability to leave the dungeon every 10 levels(boss fight) or so instead of 30(big boss) would also go a long way towards the game not feeling so tedious, also the ability to continue where you left off when you return to a dungeon, just don't count return runs as part of the how far have you delved into the dungeon in one run records give a warning that only runs starting from the first dungeon level will be added to the record.

It's hard to say whether it's intentional. Many languages use gender neutral/ambiguous pronouns and MTL will randomly alternate between he/she, regardless of how apparent the subject's gender is. Actual translators and editors will generally assign the gender pronoun themselves.
