Glad to see this game get a Steam a release. It's the best way for cynical supporters like me to pay back the dev for giving us a complete product.

The problem with that is the PC requierments would increase too.
And, as most dev's are aware, players want AAA graphics games, but they want them on 10 years old potato PC's...

This is the only game in all of F95 that my PC doesn't run (sometimes it runs but it keeps crashing all the time), I know they will criticize me but is there any chance of releasing a Renpy version of this game, or in another engine? ..

The dynamic 3D scenes kill all hope for a RenPy remake, unfortunately. It's the same thing with games like The Twist and Seaside Mystery. It just wouldn't make sense to accommodate.

Before heading to the pool party, when they do the blind boob contest where MC is supposed to decide which is best, it can now turn into a foursome--but it's just oral sex.

Because the story is complete. Some devs do it that way, where once the story is complete, they will mark version as 1.0, and then any additions or bugfix updates will lead to version 1.1 or whatever.
The thing is: the game got "completed" tag after the planned content was finished. After it was achieved, there was no news about game being developed futher, but some bug-fix patches.
And about the " their Steam page say 18 April": I feel that there are some thnigs, that must be changed/remade to be approved by Steam (like "incest" thing by ptrn). Also it maybe have to do something with mass wish-listing the game, so more people will get it in recommendations (hello youtube algoritms).
I suggest the developer focus on visual improvements before releasing the game on steam.
Okay well let me start that I absolutely love this game. It definitely one of my favorites. But hot damn this art on the main menu screen. I would pay so much to see a render upgrade so that the models looked more like this.
These Descriptions of the different files are confusing af lol When you download the various links, they're all the same lol
Too be far that will be years of work. I'm willing to wait for, hell I would even pay $60 with updated Graphics and Animations
I have tried heaps of different ways to get the game to look better, if I could get it to look even close to this I would happily put in all the time that is needed to get it there

Unreal Engine adult games were playable without significant lags on my previous Intel Pentium Dual Core (yep...) 2 GB RAM (and what kind of built-in shitty GPU was there I don't even remember) laptop from 00-s. Just saying... Not all of them of course (and on minimal graphics settings), but Last Hope in particular, and numerous others from this site. Unreal Engine is superb in terms of optimization.
Hell, even Ren'Py is worse, even if there are only pictures, animations and videos. Because it's built upon Python, which is not a memory-optimised(-able) programming language. It's a high level language meant to get results quicker, while writing less code as a programmer. The flip side of the coin is that it's slow and unoptimized as fuck, because there's no manual memory control and the memory control in Python is automated in a retarded uncontrollable way. Unreal Engine is written on C++ on the other hand, it's a more low-level verbose language that allows to optimize usage of every single byte of a memory.
On my previous ancient laptop from 00-s I've had some VN-s lagging heavily (especially the ones with animated menu), while Last Hope worked flawlessly at early versions from 2019 even on a medium settings. Later with a new versions I had to switch settings to low. And even later I decided to buy a new PC finally xD
Also, totally agree with that. Since Poolside is reading this topic, I'll remind. All this generative AI hype is a fake bullshit bubble inflated by a tech megacorporations like Nvidia, to sell their shit to others. So far I've seen only a couple of AI-generated pictures (among hundreds and thousands) that successfully outperformed a usual renders\pictures in terms of quality and attraction of user numbers.
What is generated by a so-called "AI" is INCONSISTENT as fuck. All the shapes of faces and bodies are perceived as significantly different at every new picture, and not as belonging to a one character. This is an automatic turn-off, at least for me, probably for many others too. Because it breaks the immersion instantly. Matrix multiplication algorithms do not know what the fuck is the actual human body 3D anatomic relations and what the context is.
You can make a single pretty picture with "AI" (after many trials-and-errors), but you can not make a whole story with it, and can not have it as successful as the usual renders\pictures because of the aformentioned reasons. Furthermore, a rule "trash in -> trash out" applies here. So, If some "AI"-model has been "trained" upon a shitty data, it can generate only a shitty results as well. And if the content you want to depict on a picture isn't something that the model-building algorithm had examples about, then your text prompt will not generate any useful result at all. In the end all this "AI" is based on a data of images of a good artists, 3d-creators and photographers - and just slaps together the labelled slices\pieces or their works into a one picture. With a 3d-modelling you have by far way more freedom and options for expressing your creativity.
Don't succumb to that stupid world-wide hype, think with your own head. There's no real money in that direction, it's not worth investing time into that.

The problem is the Mesh ( 3D model ) and materials..
To get a nicer looking girl, you need more poly's and detailed materials ( textures ).
For example, in Make her Cum ( https://f95zone.to/threads/make-her-cum-v1-01-dreambig-games-lemonhaze-studio.103557/ ) we used a mesh with 150k polys, 4K materials and Groom Hair ( so we can have Hair Phisics ), plus the clothing.
From our testing, the minimal GPU needed was a 1050TI, for 30 FPS. At least, we didn't have a lower GPU to test it.
Now, I imagine, improving the environment details and the girls looks, for Last Hope, would require the same or Higher GPU ( I would assume at least a 1070 if not 2050 ).
I think the meshes are fine. Just make the materials that make up their skin and hair less shiny. I really like the models as they are, and asking devs to hyper-fixate on the models is a near-pointless struggle towards a really subjective goal of perfection. Better to pick a style you like and stick with it as a dev.
