This needs clarification - do you require the bee suit from the queen or starfire? Once obtained, how do you reach the second floor?

Went back to the queen's chamber, made sure I had the bee suit on, tried to interact with everything in the room including blank walls, still nothing. Used the fly ability you get from wearing the bee suit and did the same. Still nothing.

Advance (this one) is a mod for the original work (https://f95zone.to/threads/latex-dungeon-2018-12-18-zxc.1774/) which the original creator stopped working on a little over two years ago. The Remake one is, as it says a remake by the original creator with different art assets and iirc a different game making engine. As for which is more worth playing, that's up to you. There are people who like one, the other or both.
I want to preface this by saying, I like this game. I played it for about 10-12 hours in the first three days I had it downloaded. I just am struggling with how many loose threads there are and am hoping you can help answer the questions so I can see the rest of the content I'm missing, imp.
The main ones I'm struggling with are the final two companion unlocks. I read in the somewhat helpful guide from sammo that saving a scientist will unlock a scientist companion. My problem is that I have gotten 7 scientists, and have tried giving them to the hospital, the church, the elves, and all of the scientist NPCs in the alien base, and none of them are accepting them. Where do I turn them in?
As far as "the card girl" goes, I do not know how to even begin that questline. I haven't seen anything about it. Where should I start?
Sammo's guide says that the mirror equipment can let you do the Lacy Subquest with the named girls without having a corrupted suit on. I've tried, but can't activate it still. Is that a bug?
Similarly, I'm also here to report the same issue logbed had with Figura. I saved her for certain, since I read her pieces of dialogue and clicked "show her the way to the village" but the house of curiosity remains closed.
What is the library for? Just for flavor text? Should I know who the librarian is? I only ever found four books.
Can you save Charlotte? Or is it impossible, and the only outcome of that questline is the two friends of her also getting corrupted? And is the catgirl not showing up back at the village after this resolution a bug? Sammo's guide said she should be back in town by the wheat.
What is the protective clothing that saves you from the electricity in the weird science base that you can only access from a stone tablet to the left of the town stone tablet in the hub dimension? Is it the large armor that's in the armor store? If so, how do I get it? If not, what is the armor's deal? Just a joke?
Lastly, what is the easiest way to grind for the final EX dungeon? Every enemy in there kills me in one turn with a level 39 Raven/Soldier and I can only beat normal enemies with lucky Death Touch turns. I walked through and got to the boss and predictably died each time I tried that same strategy. I know the town shops sell stat boosters, but if there's another way to boost stats, I'd like to know.
There are other questions I have, but these are the main ones. I hope my list of questions isn't taken as a bashing of the game--I believe it shows that I like the game enough to want to see all the content past these issues. Thanks.

1. the scientist should show up at the second floor after handing one to the hospital and the card girl you get is for winning your first chest game in the new shop
2. library's currently for flavor text
3. charlotte and her two friends are fated to be lewded no saving them and our favorite cat girl currently doesn't show yet
4. the protective clothing is just for the upgrade zone and the large armor is still a mystery to me(probs just a joke)
5. I have no idea the game was just better balanced that might help but stat boosters have always been critical to leveling up

Thanks both of you for the answers. I was able to get both the scientist and the card girl this time. I'm still not able to get into the protected by lightning zone, even though I brought the "protective clothing" the scientist normally wears as well as her "nanoprotective clothing" from the shop. I'm still confused as to what protective clothing for Raven gets her through there.
