Building on what m823543 said in his review about
working on six paths at the same time will definitely slow down the overall progress and might result in negative feedbacks. I would suggest focusing on one or two of your favourite paths first. This will also allow you to pace your story according to the completed paths while working on the others.
I would agree - I understand the subtle distinction between them as is - but I think some combining could be done like:
-The cheating path and "hands off encourage wife to hangout with slutty friend path"..
-The exhibitionist path could be done as a short intro path only, after a bit it forks into either vanilla or hotwife and continues on those; this could easily be done with a critical plot fork/decision like after showing pics online, someone asks for full nudes or wants to meet up, do they accept -->hotwife path, do they reject --->monogamous path.
When all's said and done then you'd have:
-Monogamous path
-Swinger path
-Hotwife path
-Cheating path
These seem the most discrete and exclusive - I can even see the swinger and hotwife being further merged since generally it's the same type of player; then subtle forks in that path on what kind of liasons they have, but overall, you'll likely have 3 kinds of players: monogamous, swinger/sharing, and cheating. Furthermore, these 3 playerbases tend to be mutually exclusive (but not always), so I don't see a benefit in further merging.
That's not to say paths like hotwife/swinger couldn't stil have branches that involve exhibitionism, or cheating couldnt have branched that involve sending her off on her own, but I think organizationally it'll be easier for the dev this way.
