This is quickly becoming my most hated trope, it might overtake rape as LI backstory and cheating as MC motivation as beyond tired tropes that make me skip games.

Don't think it really matters here now anyway. Devs last Patreon post was in august 2024.
I think the game is dead unfortunately.
S1E7 is supposed tobe the last update for season 1. and since this is a daz game, steam could be it's next destination. after that mid-august update, something might have happened to the dev that made them not able to continue. i was a patron and she was really diligent with monthly update until june, skipped july, and then post on August about the flu.
Then radio silence since.
it makes little sense to abandon a game 1 update away from a season, that could then be submitted for a steam release. i hope she's okay or it's just a simple writing block

My guess is..that this little Gem is dead....
she only have 17 paid members at the moment. yeah i think it's dead. even if she comes back to finish s01e07 for steam release, im still skeptical about the future

Agree. Lots of shitty blueballfests and cartoon crap and some really good don't get anything. Of course this one is still relatively early.
