Sure. I wouldn't be alive for the whole thing, but I find most AVN endings to be anticlimactic anyway. Give me a good story, fun characters, and keep me entertained along the way and I'm happy.25 years?

How I see it a AVN is like an anime or TV series I am along for the ride until it's cancelled 5 , 10 , 15 or 20 years doesn't matter to me. Of course id like to see any project finished. Unless a dev puts a stupid number of renders or does alot of story telling in each chapter. For me 5 chapters doesn't feel like it's enough for most AVN's out there to tell a story in full without making cuts to the story or rushing a ending in a significant way. Even more so when the AVN is more of a slice of life than story focused one and also the amount of LI does play a factor into that as well.I think the people who say that 5 chapters is short are still thinking in terms of VNs that were made in 2018 and finished in 2019. Are you sure you want more than 5 chapters with yearly updates? Eventually, Ren'Py and Daz will become outdated, and the dev will end up reworking old chapters.
100% all that matters is you have fun and were entertained . so this is my stance as well. Honestly I hate endings too even if they are good cause if it's a series I enjoy it's sad as shit to think it's over and there is no more , especially when it's a slice of life.Sure. Yeah this. Its not like most avns have this special, uniquie story full of mysteries where youre waiting for everything to be unveiled during the ending. Most endings are a few renders showing the mc marrying the LI and maybe she shows a belly or something like that.Sure. Agreed that she's one of the best. I think I saw from some previews that something may be happening in the next update with the one you spoiler here...You can read the uberhot flirty student counselor is two daikiris away from blowing the MC already, as are many others, but the childhood friend-zoned is really in friend zone land for him.
I'm worried the uberhot flirty student counselor character would be too unrealistic for me because it would ruin my immersion, but I don't care because she is just too hot to care. Congratulations on getting the model right, it's the hottest I've ever seen in both an AVN and any other videogame, and I'm not into blondes.
I hope you don't find him until after the final update is out.
That cougar girl is a forbidden relationship for the university/college, and probably big trouble is on the horizon.Agreed that she's one of the best. I think I saw from some previews that something may be happening in the next update with the one you spoiler here...
25 years from now? Talk about revenge being a dish best served cold...I hope you don't find him until after the final update is out.
what game is that i want to try it outCan't be as bad as that one game where the MC just left everyone behind, including the girls he got preggers to go to France.
ask via pm/dm, otherwise it's advertising which isn't allowed.what game is that i want to try it out
Hello everyone! I want to apologize for the delay with this update. I woke up this morning and thought, "Damn, I totally forgot the update." Shifting from the usual 3D work to post-processing must have thrown me off a bit.
Anyway, let's dive into the latest on Law School! Post-processing is going well so far. I've finished polishing all the images for the second episode, and coded them in the game files from Day 1 to Day 5. I'll start on Day 6 as soon as this update goes live, and be done by the end of the day hopefully. Day 7 only has five animations, which are already fully rendered, so tomorrow, I'll be working on Facegram. It’s great that I’ve managed to stay mostly on schedule despite a few setbacks.
Out of the six post-production phases I've done, this seventh one for Law School Episode 2 has been the most chaotic by far! This past week, anything that could go wrong did: missing renders, lost animations, deleted files, software issues, Windows Explorer glitches, crashes—you name it. Somehow, I fixed most of the issues, recreated the missing files, and brought things back on track. I'm also glad I prioritized sleep over diving into a "hell week"; otherwise, I might have crashed from exhaustion, stress, and frustration. Now, I'm back on schedule!
I also resolved the menu button issue I was facing. I'll go back to Episode 1 to apply this fix, which won't impact the player experience but will make things easier for me down the line with translations and future post-work. Fixing this menu issue even helped me solve one I had with Facegram, so that’s a double win!
One small regret: I forgot to add a variable in the first episode, so one event with Lana wasn't recorded. For players who went through the event with Lana on Day 7 of Episode 1, it won't be recognized later in the game, meaning Lana may act like it didn’t happen. I've fixed it for new players, but for you "OGs," you'll either have to replay that scene or, if you want, just select an option in-game to confirm if it happened. It’s a bummer because it affects immersion a bit to have the game ask, “Did you play doctor with Lana in Episode One?” But hey, that's why we’re still in development, right? Hopefully, I won’t make that mistake again.
Tomorrow, the game moves to testing. My first tester, who also helps with other games, will get this update as soon as possible so he can take his time with it. This early version won’t have all the functionality yet; as I mentioned, I’ll start on Facegram tomorrow, and some animations are still rendering. But when you’re working with over 2300 4K renders and 70+ animations in just five months, a few missing pieces are almost expected! Hopefully, most of the animations will be ready by the time the first testing round wraps up. I very much doubt it, but a man can dream, can't he?
The good news: we're still on track for an early December release!
Lastly, I'll be receiving the final animations from my animator early next week, so my machines will stay busy without downtime.
Lots of good things in the works! I’m committed to delivering a fantastic Episode 2, so thank you for your patience!
See you soon,
MisterMaya
P.S. If there’s no update next Monday, I probably forgot again—sorry!

Hello everyone,
Last week was fantastic—better than I’d even planned! But to be honest, it's difficult to do worse than the week before that, as I said last week.
Anyways, I sent the first draft of the game for testing on Thursday, and it's already been returned to me. The testing went well, with minimal errors in Episode 2 and some positive feedback, which is always reassuring.
Although there’s still an image and some animations missing, the episode itself is complete, and I’m just waiting for the remaining content to render.
As I mentioned in the last update, I’ve also started reworking Facegram. I set myself a target of 10-14 days to find and fix issues and create a new version that’s better looking, more functional, and easier for me to update as the game progresses. I dove into this on Friday, the day after I sent the game draft for testing, aiming to nail down the code before starting the second testing phase.
There were five key areas I needed to tackle: the Feed, profiles, picture thread, DMs, and navigation between menus. Amazingly, I managed to solve four of these on Friday alone. I was surprised by how quickly I figured out the code structure and functionality! I even drafted an initial version and then improved on it, starting from scratch with a more optimized approach. Now, not only does it look better, but it’s also more streamlined on my end.
Here's a few images of the new look.
Please keep it in your pants, I know my photoshop skills are off the charts.
Today, I cracked the final piece of the puzzle and updated all of Episode 1’s Facegram. Tomorrow, I’ll focus on creating the 50 or so renders needed to customize Facegram, and then I’ll spend the rest of the week coding Facegram for Episode 2. I expect to finish by Friday—that’s how efficient this new code is! Previously, Facegram took me almost two weeks to complete.
Being ahead of schedule is a great feeling. Even so, I still plan to release on December 4th. This date is meaningful to me, and it also gives me time to come up with new ideas to enhance not only Episode 2 but Episode 1 as well, maybe with more animations or other improvements.
Let’s see how it goes! By next week, November 18th, I estimate that the game two first episodes will be fully completed, aside from a few remaining animations that depend on my rendering power. Depending on my progress, I might even reveal the exact release plan and a promotional image. Can’t wait to share it with you all!
That’s it for today’s progress update. I hope you’re not getting too impatient, and I wish everyone a great week ahead.
Best,
MisterMaya
I like it, myself. Adds more depth, and I like the interactions it provides. While phone gimmicks like facegram can add some deep to world building I don't think it's that important. Sometimes it becomes a chore to keep track of sms and all that shit. Imo the best you can do with it is to use it to add some spicy renders and some jokes, just keep it optional to not mess the vn flow.
As long as it doesn't effect relationship scores I like it. Cause it a pain in the ass to view them on multiple saves.I like it, myself. Adds more depth, and I like the interactions it provides.
Oh boy, I'm exhausted. I know you're not used to short updates from me, but today has been a tough one, so I'll keep it brief.
We're officially in the final week of development for the second episode of Law School. I can confidently say that because I now have a clear view of everything left to do and know I’ll be wrapping things up by the end of the week.
Right now, 70% of the Facegram content for this episode is done.
All the images and animations I’ve finished are already integrated into the game files. I’m currently rendering the last animations and will likely continue doing so for the rest of the month.
My plan is to finish Facegram tomorrow, then spend Thursday and Friday testing everything thoroughly before sending the game into the second testing phase. There are about a dozen images I still want to create, which I’ll tackle tomorrow or the day after. After that, it’s all done.
I’m surprisingly drained today, so I’ll keep this update brief. Next week, I’ll share a promotional image and a more detailed progress report, including some numbers, so you know exactly what to expect from Episode 2. Until then, have a fantastic week, and I’ll catch you all next time.
