Hey there, I've answered you on Patreon. Anybody that was stuck at Olive's message on the phone has been playing from an old save, I'm guessing that's why you have the same issue. Old saves are broken unfortunately, you have to start a fresh PT
I started a new game and the phone was definitely buggy in Ep 2. First of all a lot of times you will complete a conversation chain and then when you go back to main phone screen it's still showing the red exclamation that there is a new message from that person so you have to open the conversation and close it again to get the notification to go away to continue the game.

I also ran into an issue with Rose's conversation where it acted weird and dead ended when she asked you about ditching:
1) I was at the movie.
2) Choose the "Trust me" option and don't tell her about Aurora
3) Sorry Rose I'll make it up you. (The second dialogue option doesn't even make sense as it mentions the bet with Aurora when you did not tell her about Aurora with your first two choices?)
4) The Sorry Rose I'll make it up to you option did not go away after her next message although you can't actually click on it again. But the game thinks the conversation is not completed and it is impossible to complete without rolling back/reloading a save.

Now I get that technically this isn't the conversation I was supposed to have, since it doesn't unlock the pic, but dead end bugs are still bad.

Hey there, I uploaded a patch now, but I'm also in the midst of uploading the new versions with this bug fixed.
My connexion is really slow so it takes hours per file

Oh boy, we’re back at it again…

First and foremost, I want to thank everyone who has played Law School - Episode 2 so far and shared their insightful and encouraging feedback. I’m thrilled that you’re enjoying the episode—it motivates me to work even harder on Episode 3!

Speaking of Episode 3, I’ve been working on it for a few days now. I didn’t dive straight into it after the release of Episode 2, as I started working on something else—a bit of a secret project that I’ll talk about later. But now, my full focus is on the next chapter of Law School.

The first step was story mapping, thoroughly following my story “Bible”—the master map of Law School’s narrative that I created at the very beginning of this journey. Before starting any episode, I sit down (well, more like pace around my room) and flesh out the major events, filler moments, lewd scenes, and everything in between. Once the creative juices start flowing, the ideas come fast, and I can’t help but get excited. Episode 3 has been no exception!

This episode was already planned to be larger than Episode 2, but as it turns out, it’s shaping up to be even bigger than Episode 1! I’ve got a gargantuan task ahead, and the next few months of development will be intense. But hey, if you’ve been around for a while, you know I thrive when the timeline is tight and the workload is overwhelming.

I’ve already begun creating static story images and even completed one animation for Episode 3. On top of that, I’m switching up my workflow this time. Instead of simultaneously juggling writing, 3D work, and leaving post-production and coding for the end, I’m organizing the episode by days. This means I’ll complete all the assets (images and dialogues) for one in-game day before moving on to post-production (color correction, image touch-ups) and coding for that day.

This new approach should help me avoid burnout from doing the same task for too long and, hopefully, boost productivity day by day. At least, that’s the theory. When I pitched it to the team (a.k.a. me, myself, and I), it was unanimously approved. Lol.

Now, let’s talk numbers so far:

  • 131 static story images
  • 1 animation
  • 4 scenes fully written
I know—it’s not much yet, but trust me, those numbers will grow quickly!

That’s all for this week’s update. Thank you all for your amazing support. Have a fantastic week, and I’ll catch you next Monday!

Love,
MisterMaya

Usually it depends on the tiers. Higher tiers tend to be more respectful with developers, not always of course.
In any case you can leak it yourself. It would be like undercover marketing :ROFLMAO:
On the second part i very much agree :BootyTime:
And on the first part, i think "not leaking at the higher tiers" has more to do with "stupid poor people, i have more money than you - go rot in hell, as far as i am concerned!" than with "more respectful towards the dev" approach.
This great philosopher explained that phenomenon quite well imo:

I have mixed feelings about this
Understandable, would be nice if there was some rule to give devs a 2~3 weeks grace period if the said dev is an active participant in the forum.

On the positive side of things, once the game gets popular, you should gain more patrons by default, so it's not all gloom and doom. It has all it takes to get some traction going.
